NATO is About to Get Sued by Serbia for Using Depleted Uranium In Yugoslavia

Let’s be real though, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has already gotten away with murder. Hundreds of civilians were killed when NATO attacked the former Yugoslavia with no UN mandate – that was illegal. They were interfering in a conflict between Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo. It was all to get rid of a “bad guy” and had nothing to do with a geopolitic strategy to surround Russia by sweeping more members states up close to the former Soviet Union (sarcasm). Half of the republics that made up Yugoslavia are now NATO — not to mention the Baltic and most former Soviet States! Those behind this lawsuit claim NATO used up to 15 tons of depleted uranium in 1999 which caused a major environmental disaster. The team includes lawyers from the EU, Russia, China, and India.

Anything to stop Western militaries from using Depleted Uranium munitions. Dust created when these rounds hit hard surfaces is toxic when ingested. There was a 1990s Army Hazard Awareness video that warned soldiers about staying away from objects struck by DU rounds (see below). The US still uses them. They did so in Syria last year.
