Millennials in the Workforce, A Generation of Weakness - Simon Sinek

Simon Sinek explains how the millennial generation became so entitled. A combination of failed parenting strategies, technology, impatience and environment have created a wave of young people who can't hack it in the real world.

Not all millenials suffer from these problems.

One thing to consider is that life and work are not plain sailing. You must make the best of your situation. If your job is mundane, just accept it for now, and try to make the most of it. If you have money coming in then that's a good thing.

If you really hate your job, then consider something that you can handle, even if it something else you consider mundane. Have fulfilling hobbies you can enjoy in your spare time. Life is not a continuous party. You should try to make light of what you have, and have fun with whatever you do. If you are in a toxic environment, then move. Try to have a good relationship with your co-workers.

It's not necessarily the job itself but the people that makes work fulfilling. Appreciate the simple things in life and be grateful for being alive and look to the future. Avoid making your life complicated by cheating, lying or acting in a harmful way. Doing good work, and generally helping others (or not harming others) is fulfilling and good for the conscience. Do not expect too much but also keep dreaming.

One last thing about working. At least you have money coming in. Many people without work really suffer. Try to keep that in mind.

Disclaimer! US minimum wages are very low. With a lot of unemployed people there is not much pressure for wage increases. Working in a low paying job may not bring in enough money so times will be tough. To survive this situation one must be mentally tough and will need to work with others to have enough to live. This means sharing a house or staying in your parents house for an extended time. Returning US industry from China/Mexico and cutting down on illegal immigration will help solve the job/wage problem.

Story thanks to Trump is Right.
