A Plea to Israel: Don’t Start the Third Lebanon War

The situation has changed on Israel’s northern front, and the prospect of war is coming into focus. The fear in this country is that since Hezbollah and Iran are emerging on top in the Syrian civil war, they will soon turn their weapons against us.
Israel’s leaders sound ready to fight. The recent, full-scale military drill in the north was geared toward “victory” over Hezbollah. About the time that Israel was bombing another weapons depot near Damascus, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the UN: “We will act to prevent Iran from establishing permanent military bases in Syria for its air, sea and ground forces. We will act to prevent Iran from producing deadly weapons in Syria or in Lebanon for use against us. And we will act to prevent Iran from opening new terror fronts against Israel along our northern border.”
Last week Andrew Exum, a Middle East aide in the Obama administration, wrote in The Atlantic: “[F]or nearly two years now, Israeli military and intelligence officials have been warning every American official who comes through Tel Aviv and Jerusalem that the next war [with Hezbollah] is coming.”
What kind of war will it be? Exum: “very, very ugly. … Hundreds and perhaps thousands of Israelis could die in another conflict.”
Sure. Why not? Hezbollah has an estimated 150,000 missiles ready to strike. And if Iran gets into it? And Syria?
Yet Israel’s leaders don’t sound like they fear the consequences of such a war. They sound like they’re mainly afraid of letting Hezbollah keep its 150,000 missiles, and of letting the cease-fire agreement in Syria go through, which Netanyahu says would bring Iranian weaponry and Iranian-aligned militias near the Israeli Golan Heights. More than being afraid of the prospect of hundreds or thousands of Israeli deaths, they sound afraid of letting Iran establish a “band of control” from its territory through Iraq and Syria and into Lebanon for the transfer of weapons and fighters.
But here’s the thing: By continuing to bomb Syrian arms destined for Hezbollah – which Israel has admittedly done nearly 100 times in the last five years – as well as periodically killing Hezbollah and other pro-Syrian fighters along with the occasional Iranian general, Israel is making the next very, very ugly war in the north a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Sooner or later, Hezbollah or Iran or Syria is bound to strike back, at which point Israel can be expected to fight the war it’s been training for and talking about. You have to wonder if Netanyahu and the military brass are deliberately trying to provoke our enemies to the north into hitting back, so they can then claim that Israel has “no choice” but to fight another “war of self-defense.”
But what if we didn’t go on bombing and killing our enemies to the north? Would they attack? Most Israelis, it seems to me, think they would. They base this view on the growing masses of arms held by Hezbollah, Iran and Syria, the brutality all of them have shown in war, and their political or Islamist ideology that marks Israel out for destruction. All this, according to the seeming Israeli consensus, adds up to an inevitable attack from the north meant to cripple if not crush Israel, which makes an Israeli “preemptive” attack appealing.
That’s where we stand. In my view, though, this consensus is the product of Israeli paranoia. It’s the product of the fear and aggression that rule the national political mentality, and that get so many Israeli soldiers and civilians killed for no reason, not to mention Arab soldiers and civilians. The idea that Hezbollah, Iran and Syria are itching for a war with Israel, that they’re just waiting to attack, is a delusion. Absent Israeli provocation, such an attack would have no parallel in the world or in history. Yet Israelis seem  ready to fight on account of this fear, and if they’re not ready now, they will be as soon as one or two Israelis are killed in the counter-attack for our 103rd or 104th or whatever number bombing in Lebanon or Syria, and the government, media and right-wing “street” are roaring for battle.
The reason the Israeli consensus is a delusion, the reason Hezbollah, Iran and Syria don’t want war with Israel, is because the weak don’t want war with the strong, especially when the weak have been getting their heads handed to them by the strong for years and decades on end. Whatever arms our enemies to the north have, Israel has many times better ones, and our “qualitative edge” is only growing.
“If Hezbollah’s capabilities have grown linearly, ours have grown exponentially, in intelligence, in targets and in the ability to attack,” Israeli Maj. Gen. Tamir Hayman, commander of the military drill in the north, told AP.
But what better proof is there of Israel’s clear military superiority over Hezbollah, Iran and Syria than the long, long list of Israeli attacks on them that went unanswered. In addition to those mentioned above, Israel has destroyed a Syrian nuclear facility. It has killed five Iranian nuclear scientists. It flies spy planes, drones and balloons over Lebanon continuously. And it has made the Golan Heights part of Israel, when the Syrians, not to mention the rest of the world, say it rightly belongs to Syria.
Has Hezbollah, Iran or Syria ever destroyed an Israeli nuclear facility? Do they bomb Israeli weapons convoys and depots ever, let alone 100 times in five years? Do they kill Israeli generals and nuclear scientists? Do they fly spy planes, drones and balloons over Israel? Do they conquer Israeli territory? None of these things is even imaginable; they wouldn’t dare try.  And why? Because they respect Israel? Because they believe Israel has the right to attack them but they don’t have the right to hit back? No. They don’t hit back, except on very rare occasions, because they’re scared stiff of Israel’s power, and rightly so.

None of the Arab countries are going to start a war against Israel. Their conventional military forces are not strong enough, and any actions that ultimately threaten the existence of the State will be met with US intervention and/or a nuclear response. Israel has hundreds of nuclear weapons.

The fact of the matter is that it is the Israeli Government that wants wars in the Middle East to weaken neighbouring countries and to steal more territory. It's that simple.

Einstein's Warning of Israeli Terrorists

Albert Einstein wrote a letter to the New York Times when the Israeli terrorist Menachem Begin visited the United States in December 1948. Begin's party of terrorists controls Israel to this day, which makes Einstein's warning relevant to our political predicament today.

Einstein's letter was written to warn the people of the United States to prevent them from supporting a party of terrorists, saying, “the American public must be informed as to the record and objectives of Mr. Begin and his movement….It is in its actions that the terrorist party betrays its real character; from its past actions we can judge what it may be expected to do in the future.”

Einstein's warning went unheeded. 9/11 and the War on Terror are the bitter fruits we have received from having ignored Einstein's sage advice.

In an earlier letter to the Stern Gang, Einstein wrote:

"When a real and final catastrophe should befall us in Palestine the first responsible for it would be the British and the second responsible for it the Terrorist organizations built up from our own ranks.I am not willing to see anybody associated with these misled and criminal people."

Sincerely yours,
Albert Einstein

Kurdish ‘Threat’: Turkey & Iraq Hold Drills After Kurdish Referendum Passes Successfully

Iraqi Kurds have voted in an independence referendum, despite opposition from both Baghdad and abroad. Baghdad sees the referendum as another source for destabilization of an already fragile state and doesn’t want to lose the oil-rich region.
Turkey is conducting joint military drills with Iraq, and threatened to block an oil pipeline operated by the Kurds. RT discussed the Iraqi Kurdish referendum with Namo Abdulla from Rudaw, a Kurdistan media network, and former CIA officer Jack Rice.

Anti-Terrorist Raid: US Not Answered Who its Special Forces Fight in Syria

The Russian military has launched airstrikes on terrorist positions in Syria's Idlib and Deir ez-Zor provinces.
The strikes targeted ISIS and Al-Nusra Front outposts, destroying military equipment and arms depots. Earlier, Reuters published an article claiming Russian strikes had hit US-backed rebels in Deir ez-Zor province. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense has released satellite images showing US special forces, and their allies, camped inside former IS strongholds.

Washington Has Initiated Military Conflict With Russia - Paul Craig Roberts

Russia has provided evidence that Washington is collaborating with ISIS in attacks on Russian forces.

In one Washington-directed attack, ISIS tried to capture 29 Russian military policemen. However, Russian special forces entered the fray, and the result was spectacular losses for ISIS.

In another attack Washington-directed attack, Russian General Valery Asapov and two Russian colonels were killed in an attack that violated agreements.

Sooner or later it will dawn on the Russian government that Washington is not a rational government with which diplomacy can be practiced, peace pursued, and agreements reached. Sooner or later it will dawn on the Russian government that far from being rational, Washington is a criminally insane collection of psychopaths in thrall to the military/security complex which, in turn, is in thrall to its massive profits.

In other words, for the powerful interest groups that control the US government, war is a profit center. No amount of Russian diplomacy can do anything about this fact.

It is unfortunate that the Russian government did not realize what it was dealing with. If the Russian government had not projected its own rationality on Washington, the war in Syria would have been over a couple of years ago. Instead, hoping for a settlement, the Russians were stop-go/stop-go, which gave Washington time to recover from the shock of Russian intervention and put in place plans to partition Syria in order to keep the conflict alive forever. Having dallied in hopes of a settlement, the danger of which The Saker warns us is real.
The protests by black pro-football players by refusing to stand for the national anthem has come at an unfortunate time. It is playing into the hands of the military/security complex which is using President Trump’s loud voice challenging the “anti-americanism” to whip up patriotic fervor. It is amazing how people fall for it every time. The military/security complex and their presstitutes are creating public anger at those “attacking our country.” This anger will be turned from black football players to Russia.

With the public in its pocket, the military/security complex will increase its reckless provocations of Russia until we are all dead.

US Provides Military Assistance to 73 Percent of World's Dictatorships

For decades, the American people have been repeatedly told by their government and corporate-run media that acts of war ordered by their president have been largely motivated by the need to counter acts of aggression or oppression by "evil dictators." We were told we had to invade Iraq because Saddam Hussein was an evil dictator. We had to bomb Libya because Muammar Gaddafi was an evil dictator, bent on unleashing a "bloodbath" on his own people. Today, of course, we are told that we should support insurgents in Syria because Bashar al-Assad is an evil dictator, and we must repeatedly rattle our sabers at North Korea's Kim Jong-un and Russia's Vladimir Putin because they, too, are evil dictators.

This is part of the larger, usually unquestioned mainstream corporate media narrative that the US leads the "Western democracies" in a global struggle to combat terrorism and totalitarianism and promote democracy.

I set out to answer a simple question: Is it true? Does the US government actually oppose dictatorships and champion democracy around the world, as we are repeatedly told?

The truth is not easy to find, but federal sources do provide an answer: No. According to Freedom House's rating system of political rights around the world, there were 49 nations in the world, as of 2015, that can be fairly categorized as "dictatorships." As of fiscal year 2015, the last year for which we have publicly available data, the federal government of the United States had been providing military assistance to 36 of them, courtesy of your tax dollars. The United States currently supports over 73 percent of the world's dictatorships!

Most politically aware people know of some of the more highly publicized instances of this, such as the tens of billions of dollars' worth of US military assistance provided to the beheading capital of the world, the misogynistic monarchy of Saudi Arabia, and the repressive military dictatorship now in power in Egypt. But apologists for our nation's imperialistic foreign policy may try to rationalize such support, arguing that Saudi Arabia and Egypt are exceptions to the rule. They may argue that our broader national interests in the Middle East require temporarily overlooking the oppressive nature of those particular states, in order to serve a broader, pro-democratic endgame.

Such hogwash could be critiqued on many counts, of course, beginning with its class-biased presumptions about what constitutes US "national interests." But my survey of US support for dictatorships around the world demonstrates that our government's support for Saudi Arabia and Egypt are not exceptions to the rule at all. They are the rule.

Why Trump's Foreign Policy May Result in 25 'Chernobyls' in Asia-Pacific

The US' foreign policy may lead to a nuclear nightmare in Asia Pacific, compared to which the Fukushima disaster is a "firecracker," an expert told Sputnik, adding that in his UN speech Donald Trump had repeatedly contradicted himself by calling upon nations to maintain their sovereignty while at the same time threatening to destroy North Korea.
US President Donald Trump's threat to "totally destroy" North Korea in case the US is "forced to defend itself or its allies" means a potential atomic Armageddon for the Korean Peninsula, Konstantin Sivkov, a Russian military analyst and president of the Academy for Geopolitical Problems, told Sputnik China.

"We must keep in mind what a strike on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) may result in," Sivkov said. "If the US decides to begin an all-out war against North Korea it will mean only one thing: 25 nuclear reactors in South Korea will be destroyed by a retaliatory attack from the DPRK. This equates to 25 Chernobyl disasters on the Korean Peninsula."
It's easy to guess what the consequences would be, the expert noted: the Korean Peninsula, considerable parts of China and Russia, let alone most of the territory of Japan will turn into a "dead zone."

"In comparison with this, the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe would look like a firecracker," Sivkov pointed out. "In fact, Trump is pushing [the peninsula] toward a nuclear collision, and it must be realized that if a nuclear strike is launched against North Korea, it is unlikely that China and Russia will stand idly by."

We face the same problem with meteor impacts and other natural disasters around the world where nuclear power plants are located. They are ticking time bombs.

Any country that has nuclear power cannot be wholesale attacked due to the threat of reactor meltdowns.

Ron Paul: "How To End The Korea Crisis"

The descent of US/North Korea “crisis” to the level of schoolyard taunts should be remembered as one of the most bizarre, dangerous, and disgraceful chapters in US foreign policy history.

President Trump, who holds the lives of millions of Koreans and Americans in his hands, has taken to calling the North Korean dictator “rocket man on a suicide mission.”

Why? To goad him into launching some sort of action to provoke an American response? Maybe the US president is not even going to wait for that.

We remember from the Tonkin Gulf false flag that the provocation doesn’t even need to be real.

We are in extremely dangerous territory and Congress for the most part either remains asleep or is cheering on the sabre-rattling.

Now we have North Korean threats to detonate hydrogen bombs over the Pacific Ocean and US threats to “totally destroy” the country.

We are told that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is a “madman.” That’s just what they said about Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad, and everyone else the neocons target for US military action. We don’t need to be fans of North Korea to be skeptical of the war propaganda delivered by the mainstream media to the benefit of the neocons and the military industrial complex.

Where are the cooler heads in Washington to tone down this war footing?

Making matters worse, there is very little understanding of the history of the conflict. The US spends more on its military than the next ten or so countries combined, with thousands of nuclear weapons that can destroy the world many times over. Nearly 70 years ago a US-led attack on Korea led to mass destruction and the death of nearly 30 percent of the North Korean population. That war has not yet ended.

Why hasn’t a peace treaty been signed? Newly-elected South Korean president Moon Jae-in has proposed direct negotiations with North Korea leading to a peace treaty. The US does not favor such a bilateral process. In fact, the US laughed off a perfectly sensible offer made by the Russians and Chinese, with the agreement of the North Koreans, for a “double freeze” – the North Koreans would suspend missile launches if the US and South Korea suspend military exercises aimed at the overthrow of the North Korean government.

So where are there cooler heads? Encouragingly, they are to be found in South Korea, which would surely suffer massively should a war break out. While US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, was bragging that the new UN sanctions against North Korea would result in a near-complete blockade of the country (an act of war), the South Korean government did something last week that shocked the world: it announced an eight million dollar humanitarian aid package for pregnant mothers and infant children in North Korea. The US and its allies are furious over the move, but how could anyone claim the mantle of “humanitarianism” while imposing sanctions that aim at starving civilians until they attempt an overthrow of their government?

Here’s how to solve the seven-decade old crisis:
pull all US troops out of North Korea;
end all military exercises on the North Korean border;
encourage direct talks between the North and South and offer to host or observe them with an international delegation including the Russians and Chinese, which are after all Korea’s neighbors.
The schoolyard insults back and forth between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un are not funny. They are in fact an insult to all of the rest of us!

New Study Provides Further Evidence of Low IQ in Children Due to Fluoride Exposure

A new study has found that prenatal exposure to fluoride may contribute to lower IQ in children, the latest in a number of studies indicating health and cognitive issues as a result of fluoride exposure.

On September 19, the journal Environmental Health Perspectives published the study “Prenatal Fluoride Exposure and Cognitive Outcomes in Children at 4 and 6–12 Years of Age in Mexico,” examining the results of prenatal exposure to fluoride and the potential health concerns. The researchers called the study “one of the first and largest longitudinal epidemiological studies to exist that either address the association of early life exposure to fluoride to childhood intelligence or study the association of fluoride and cognition using individual biomarker of fluoride exposure.” The study was funded in part by the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

The research team studied participants from Mexico’s Early Life Exposures in Mexico to Environmental Toxicants (ELEMENT) project by measuring the amount of fluoride present in the mothers’ urine during pregnancy and again when their children were 6 to 12 years old.  The researchers found that higher prenatal fluoride exposure was associated with lower scores on tests for cognitive function at age four and between ages six and twelve. The researchers acknowledge that their results are “somewhat consistent” with past ecological studies which indicate children living in areas of high fluoride exposure have lower IQ scores than those in low-exposure areas.

“Our findings, combined with evidence from existing animal and human studies, reinforce the need for additional research on potential adverse effects of fluoride, particularly in pregnant women and children, and to ensure that the benefits of population-level fluoride supplementation outweigh any potential risks,” the researchers write.

Dr. Leonardo Trasande, a pediatrician who studies potential links between environmental exposures and health problems at New York University Langone Health, told Newsweek the study was “well-conducted” and “raises serious concerns about fluoride supplementation in water.”

The Killing of History - John Pilger

One of the most hyped “events” of American television, The Vietnam War, has started on the PBS network. The directors are Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. Acclaimed for his documentaries on the Civil War, the Great Depression and the history of jazz, Burns says of his Vietnam films, “They will inspire our country to begin to talk and think about the Vietnam war in an entirely new way”.

In a society often bereft of historical memory and in thrall to the propaganda of its “exceptionalism”, Burns’ “entirely new” Vietnam war is presented as “epic, historic work”. Its lavish advertising campaign promotes its biggest backer, Bank of America, which in 1971 was burned down by students in Santa Barbara, California, as a symbol of the hated war in Vietnam.

Burns says he is grateful to “the entire Bank of America family” which “has long supported our country’s veterans”. Bank of America was a corporate prop to an invasion that killed perhaps as many as four million Vietnamese and ravaged and poisoned a once bountiful land. More than 58,000 American soldiers were killed, and around the same number are estimated to have taken their own lives.

I watched the first episode in New York. It leaves you in no doubt of its intentions right from the start. The narrator says the war “was begun in good faith by decent people out of fateful misunderstandings, American overconfidence and Cold War misunderstandings”.

The dishonesty of this statement is not surprising. The cynical fabrication of “false flags” that led to the invasion of Vietnam is a matter of record – the Gulf of Tonkin “incident” in 1964, which Burns promotes as true, was just one. The lies litter a multitude of official documents, notably the Pentagon Papers, which the great whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg released in 1971.

There was no good faith. The faith was rotten and cancerous. For me – as it must be for many Americans -- it is difficult to watch the film’s jumble of “red peril” maps, unexplained interviewees, ineptly cut archive and maudlin American battlefield sequences.

In the series’ press release in Britain -- the BBC will show it -- there is no mention of Vietnamese dead, only Americans. “We are all searching for some meaning in this terrible tragedy,” Novick is quoted as saying. How very post-modern.

All this will be familiar to those who have observed how the American media and popular culture behemoth has revised and served up the great crime of the second half of the twentieth century: from The Green Berets and The Deer Hunter to Rambo and, in so doing, has legitimised subsequent wars of aggression. The revisionism never stops and the blood never dries. The invader is pitied and purged of guilt, while “searching for some meaning in this terrible tragedy”. Cue Bob Dylan: “Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son?”

I thought about the “decency” and “good faith” when recalling my own first experiences as a young reporter in Vietnam: watching hypnotically as the skin fell off Napalmed peasant children like old parchment, and the ladders of bombs that left trees petrified and festooned with human flesh. General William Westmoreland, the American commander, referred to people as “termites”.

In the early 1970s, I went to Quang Ngai province, where in the village of My Lai, between 347 and 500 men, women and infants were murdered by American troops (Burns prefers “killings”). At the time, this was presented as an aberration: an “American tragedy” (Newsweek ). In this one province, it was estimated that 50,000 people had been slaughtered during the era of American “free fire zones”. Mass homicide. This was not news.

To the north, in Quang Tri province, more bombs were dropped than in all of Germany during the Second World War. Since 1975, unexploded ordnance has caused more than 40,000 deaths in mostly “South Vietnam”, the country America claimed to “save” and, with France, conceived as a singularly imperial ruse.

The “meaning” of the Vietnam war is no different from the meaning of the genocidal campaign against the Native Americans, the colonial massacres in the Philippines, the atomic bombings of Japan, the levelling of every city in North Korea. The aim was described by Colonel Edward Lansdale, the famous CIA man on whom Graham Greene based his central character in The Quiet American.
Quoting Robert Taber’s The War of the Flea, Lansdale said, “There is only one means of defeating an insurgent people who will not surrender, and that is extermination. There is only one way to control a territory that harbours resistance, and that is to turn it into a desert.”

Nothing has changed. When Donald Trump addressed the United Nations on 19 September – a body established to spare humanity the “scourge of war” – he declared he was “ready, willing and able” to “totally destroy” North Korea and its 25 million people. His audience gasped, but Trump’s language was not unusual.

His rival for the presidency, Hillary Clinton, had boasted she was prepared to “totally obliterate” Iran, a nation of more than 80 million people. This is the American Way; only the euphemisms are missing now.
Returning to the US, I am struck by the silence and the absence of an opposition – on the streets, in journalism and the arts, as if dissent once tolerated in the “mainstream” has regressed to a dissidence: a metaphoric underground.

There is plenty of sound and fury at Trump the odious one, the “fascist”, but almost none at Trump the symptom and caricature of an enduring system of conquest and extremism.

Where are the ghosts of the great anti-war demonstrations that took over Washington in the 1970s? Where is the equivalent of the Freeze Movement that filled the streets of Manhattan in the 1980s, demanding that President Reagan withdraw battlefield nuclear weapons from Europe?

The sheer energy and moral persistence of these great movements largely succeeded; by 1987 Reagan had negotiated with Mikhail Gorbachev an Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) that effectively ended the Cold War.

Today, according to secret Nato documents obtained by the German newspaper, Suddeutsche Zetung, this vital treaty is likely to be abandoned as “nuclear targeting planning is increased”. The German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel has warned against “repeating the worst mistakes of the Cold War … All the good treaties on disarmament and arms control from Gorbachev and Reagan are in acute peril. Europe is threatened again with becoming a military training ground for nuclear weapons. We must raise our voice against this.”
But not in America. The thousands who turned out for Senator Bernie Sanders’ “revolution” in last year’s presidential campaign are collectively mute on these dangers. That most of America’s violence across the world has been perpetrated not by Republicans, or mutants like Trump, but by liberal Democrats, remains a taboo.

Barack Obama provided the apotheosis, with seven simultaneous wars, a presidential record, including the destruction of Libya as a modern state. Obama’s overthrow of Ukraine’s elected government has had the desired effect: the massing of American-led Nato forces on Russia’s western borderland through which the Nazis invaded in 1941.

Obama’s “pivot to Asia” in 2011 signalled the transfer of the majority of America’s naval and air forces to Asia and the Pacific for no purpose other than to confront and provoke China. The Nobel Peace Laureate’s worldwide campaign of assassinations is arguably the most extensive campaign of terrorism since 9/11.
What is known in the US as “the left” has effectively allied with the darkest recesses of institutional power, notably the Pentagon and the CIA, to see off a peace deal between Trump and Vladimir Putin and to reinstate Russia as an enemy, on the basis of no evidence of its alleged interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The true scandal is the insidious assumption of power by sinister war-making vested interests for which no American voted. The rapid ascendancy of the Pentagon and the surveillance agencies under Obama represented an historic shift of power in Washington. Daniel Ellsberg rightly called it a coup. The three generals running Trump are its witness.

All of this fails to penetrate those “liberal brains pickled in the formaldehyde of identity politics”, as Luciana Bohne noted memorably. Commodified and market-tested, “diversity” is the new liberal brand, not the class people serve regardless of their gender and skin colour: not the responsibility of all to stop a barbaric war to end all wars.

“How did it fucking come to this?” says Michael Moore in his Broadway show, Terms of My Surrender, a vaudeville for the disaffected set against a backdrop of Trump as Big Brother.
I admired Moore’s film, Roger & Me, about the economic and social devastation of his hometown of Flint, Michigan, and Sicko, his investigation into the corruption of healthcare in America.

The night I saw his show, his happy-clappy audience cheered his reassurance that “we are the majority!” and calls to “impeach Trump, a liar and a fascist!” His message seemed to be that had you held your nose and voted for Hillary Clinton, life would be predictable again.

He may be right. Instead of merely abusing the world, as Trump does, the Great Obliterator might have attacked Iran and lobbed missiles at Putin, whom she likened to Hitler: a particular profanity given the 27 million Russians who died in Hitler’s invasion.

“Listen up,” said Moore, “putting aside what our governments do, Americans are really loved by the world!”

There was a silence.

How the US Became a Warmonger Police State - Paul Craig Roberts

Professor David Ray Griffin is a tenacious person. He has written a number of carefully researched books that demonstrate the extraordinary shortcomings in the official account of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon and the subsequent anthrax attack. He has provided the mountains of evidence completely ignored by the US government’s account and the presstitute media.

In his recently published latest book, Bush and Cheney: How They Ruined America and the World , Professor Griffin demonstrates how 9/11 was used by the Zionist Neoconservatives, the Cheney/Bush regime, and the military/security complex with the complicity of Congress and the US media to create Islamophobia among the American public in order to launch wars of aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Syria, and provinces of Pakistan with Iran in the crosshairs. These wars are based on lies and fabricated “evidence,” on determination to control pipelines and oil flows, on maximizing profits for the military/security corporations in which Cheney has a personal interest, and on extending neoconservative hegemony over the world.

One consequence has been the destruction of US constitutional protections that protect liberty and violations of US and international law such as the laws against torture.

Another consequence has been millions of displaced refugees from Washington’s wars over-running the countries of Europe.

Indeed, Europe faces a “Camp of the Saints” situation, and the US now has a police state in which all citizens are subject to: indefinite detention (imprisonment) on suspicion alone without conviction or evidence presented to a court; assassination on suspicion alone without due process of law; and total violation of privacy, including body cavities, without presentation of a court warrant. American women are now subjected to having their vaginas examined by police in public on the roadside.

The hoax “war on terror” has turned America into a Gestapo state. Not many Americans directly experience the consequences, but they will be denied valid information as the Gestapo American state closes down all dissent on the grounds that it is harmful to national security. People who speak their minds will find that they no longer have First Amendment protection.

Every passing day truth is less and less prevalent in the United States. Democratic control over the government is already nonexistent. Essentially, Americans live in the Fourth Reich which has already budded and is now blossoming.

Wars and their expense will continue to multiply as the military/security complex uses manufactured “threats” to continue the excessive flow of American resources into more weapons to be used in the destruction of more countries.

Professor Griffin provides the details of the story of how the United States ceased to be a free country ruled by law and became instead a threat both to American civil liberty and to life on earth.

In world polls 25% of the respondents recognize the United States as the greatest threat to peace in the world. This is 5 times higher than those who regard North Korea and Iran as threats, much less Venezuela which does not even register. When Trump gave his UN speech he should have said that the United States, controlled as it is by the CIA and military/security complex, is the great threat that the entire world faces, including Americans.

But Trump has betrayed us. He accepted the aggressive militarist neoconservative line that the military/security complex, about which President Eisenhower warned us, to no avail, in 1961, 56 years ago, is the hegemonic police power chosen by History to protect the peace of the world.

It must reassure the 7 or 8 countries bombed into the stone age by Washington’s might that their destruction is “protecting the peace of the world.”

It is official. The deep state has admitted that Trump is now under their control and it is now business as usual — just like it was under Bush and Obama — and just like it would’ve been under Hillary.

For those who don’t remember, with the help of mainstream media—from The New York Times to Fox News—after 9/11, Americans were duped into accepting endless war by George W. Bush thanks to a constant bombardment of lies sold to the masses under the guise of “protecting freedom.” All one needs to do to realize no freedoms were protected by these wars, in which thousands of Americans died and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians were slaughtered, is look around today.

With every action recorded, phone tapped, innocent family surveilled, right stripped, and citizen killed by their government, the term “Freedom” has become a mere symbolic representation of the brittle shell of America left behind after being gutted by unelected operatives in the deep state hell bent on total control and perpetual war.

Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and other neocons hailing from the notorious Project for the New American Century (PNAC), co-founded by neoconservative extraordinaire, William “Bill” Kristol, had their agenda of military hegemony clearly laid out, years before 9/11 which Bush would implement for them perfectly.

After Obama promised to end the wars, he quickly fell in line and started several more. And now, this very same thing is happening with Trump.

The deep state neocon/neolib faction has become so successful at shifting the narrative toward irrelevant infighting that no one even notices when their candidate gets into office and does a 180 on damn near every promise they made — Trump included. Here are just two powerful examples of Trump selling out to the deep state.

Saudi Arabia. Before Trump was elected, he admitted that he knew Saudi Arabia funded 9/11. Now, as the world finds this out, Trump gives them hundreds of billions in weapons and calls them our allies.
Afghanistan. Before he was elected, Trump was vehemently opposed to the quagmire in Afghanistan and called it “stupid,” “wasteful,” and “dangerous.” Now, just like his predecessors, he’s doubling down and send thousands more troops into an unwinnable war in which they will kill or be killed only to come home with PTSD or worse.

Dare we say, “We told you so”?

While many had faith that Trump would keep his promises, the fact is that all presidents are puppets and no matter who is in office, the shadow government always wins.

The deep state is so brazen, that the founder of PNAC actually took to MSNBC this week to admit they’ve finally gotten a grip on Trump.

After Trump made his UN speech, promising more war and to annihilate the millions of citizens in North Korea if they should make one wrong move, Bill Kristol himself went on MSNBC to praise him for it.

Kristol said Trump “sounded a little like George W. Bush to me” and that “for all of Donald Trump’s America First talk and repudiation of the Bush-McCain-Romney foreign policy,” it came across as “more standard,” even with the “Trumpian aspects.”

Kristol openly admitted that yes, Trump ran on a non-interventionist policy of peace and actually criticized Bush and Obama for their senseless wars, but now he is just like Bush. But it gets worse.
As to why Trump now sounds like Bush, according to Kristol, it’s because the deep state has officially attached their puppet strings.

“The people around Trump have gotten more of a grip on Trump, I think, in foreign policy, than I would have expected… This is a more normal speech by an American president than I might have thought three, four months ago,” said Kristol.

And just like that, on live TV, the neocon of neocons — who is an unmistakable member and policy writer of the deep state — said that Trump is now a puppet whose very strings are pulled by the Swamp he promised to drain, yet never did.

Yes, this is the same Bill Kristol who just two months ago called Trump a Jackass.

It’s not just the neocons who’ve noticed Trump’s transformation into a deep state neocon puppet either — lots of us have — including former Congressman Ron Paul.

Let's hope that Trump still has some level of agency against the pro-war establishment, but things are not looking good.

Deepwater Horizon Gulf Oil Spill And The Corexit Oil Dispersant Health Problems Confirmed

Back on April 20, 2010, a major environmental catastrophe occurred in the Gulf of Mexico when the Deepwater Horizon oil drilling rig exploded and 4.9 million barrels of crude spilled into the Gulf waters creating a problem that was not ‘fixed’ until July 10, 2010 when the rig finally was able to be capped.

One of the approved emergency methods to control the oil spill was the use of Corexit™,  a chemical dispersant sprayed from aircraft.  According to a report about the health issues related to that chemical “Respiratory, Dermal, and Eye Irritation Symptoms Associated with Corexit™ EC9527A/EC9500A following the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: Findings from the GuLF STUDY,” we learn in the Introduction,
As part of the oil spill response and cleanup (OSRC), approximately 1.8 million gallons (6.8 million liters) of oil dispersant was applied both to the sea surface [1.07 million gallons (4.05 million liters)] and directly into the stream of oil leaving the wellhead 5,000 feet (1.5 km) underwater [0.77 million gallons (2.9 million liters)] (United States Coast Guard 2011).
Furthermore, in the Conclusion of that report, association is made that health issues apparently were caused by the dispersant chemical.
Potential exposure to Corexit™ EC9527A or EC9500A was associated with a range of health symptoms at the time of the OSRC, as well as at the time of study enrollment, 1–3 y after the spill.
Table 2 of the report cites the following health issues:
Cough; Wheeze; Tightness in chest; Shortness of breath; Burning in nose, throat, lungs; Burning eyes; Itching eyes; Skin Irritation.
The above report confirms what clean-up crew members were reporting at the time of the incident and thereafter.  However, what long-range health problems do they face?  Man-made toxic chemicals are known to cause irreparable DNA breaks, which lead to cancers.

No Moderation In Washington, War is the only Virtue - Stephen Lendman

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is a distinguished figure, supporting world peace, deploring war – polar opposite his Western counterparts.

On Wednesday, he addressed the UN General Assembly in New York, speaking forthrightly, explaining his agenda “calls for moderation and respect for human rights and prosperity and economic revitalization at home, and constructive engagement around the world.”

US and Israeli accusations against his nation are malicious, hateful and false, a way to attack its sovereign independence, inventing reasons to justify what’s vicious and unjustifiable.

“(M)oderation is…the chosen path of the great Iranian people,” Rouhani stressed, “seek(ing) neither isolation nor hegemony… impl(ying) neither indifference, nor intransigence.”

“(M)oderation is the path of peace,” an anathema agenda in Washington, other Western states, Israel and their rogue allies.

Iran threatens no one, Rouhani explained. It seeks mutual cooperation with all other nations. It rejects intimidation and threats.

It’s impossible to achieve global peace and stability “while Muslims in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Myanmar and so many other places live in misery, war and poverty,” he said – US imperial ruthlessness the root cause in most places.

Iran is committed to combat terrorism, not support or spread it like Washington and its rogue allies. Accusations otherwise are malicious lies. Tehran’s leadership has no imperial ambitions.

It abhors nuclear weapons. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) bears testimony to wanting these WMDs eliminated – regionally and globally.

“It is reprehensible that the rogue Zionist regime that threatens regional and global security with its nuclear arsenal and is not committed to any international instrument or safeguard, has the audacity to preach to peaceful nations” like Iran, Rouhani stressed.

Tehran strictly observes JCPOA terms. It’ll “respond decisively and resolutely to its violation by any other party.”

Trump wants the agreement rescinded, undermined or renegotiated. He decided on what action he’ll take, not yet revealing his scheme – clearly something to sabotage an international treaty, how Washington operates unaccountably.

Rouhani said breaching it will come at a “high cost” to Washington. Trump already revealed his rogue agenda, seeking ways to heighten his ignominy, not re-certifying the JCPOA or undermining it by other means something he likely intends.

Rouhani, Foreign Minister Zarif, and other P5+1 countries agree that JCPOA terms won’t be renegotiated, no matter what Trump does or doesn’t do.

Iran won’t be deterred by his unacceptable actions. “By violating its international commitments, the new US administration only destroys its own credibility and undermines international confidence in negotiating with it, or accepting its word or promise,” said Rouhani.

He criticized US-led regional recklessness, waging endless wars of aggression, threatening attacks on other nations, Iran a longstanding US target.

He invited all nations “seek(ing) peace, security and progress through partnership and cooperation…to visit Iran and join (together) in building this future of hope.”

He urged transforming “imposition, unilateralism, intimidation and war into the logic of dialogue, synergy and peace so that moderation can become the dominant voice across the globe.”

Rouhani said what he means and meant what he said – polar opposite how duplicitous US politicians operate.

A UN Force for Ukraine: Beware the Trojan Horse

Russia has proposed that a UN “peacekeeping” force be placed in Ukraine to protect Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) representatives, who are supposed to be monitoring adherence to the Minsk agreements. But already the problems with the idea have become obvious with the United States and the Kiev regime reacting to the proposal with statements that they want to use the force to “restore Ukrainian sovereignty” and its “territorial integrity.”

The objective of the NATO alliance is clear, to use the force as a device to crush the Donbass republics. Russia sees it as a way advance the Minsk agreements, to stop the harassing criticism of the NATO powers that the Russians and Donbass impede the work of the OSCE observers and perhaps to have some control over the OSCE to make sure it is neutral and objective in its mission. For in fact the OSCE is seen by many in the Donbass Republics as a group of spies for the west, not to be trusted.

The Russians seem to think a UN force could be created that would actually be neutral between all the parties to the hostilities, give some assurance to the Donbass and create another layer or buffer between the Kiev forces besieging the Donbass and the Donbass forces resisting that siege. A logical idea it would seem if one were not aware of how UN “peacekeeping” missions actually work. The trouble with it is that unless such a force is officered by Russians, or nations allied with Russia, no UN force could be trusted. History shows that UN peacekeeping missions can turn into “regime change” missions, as happened in Rwanda and Yugoslavia.

I will focus on the Rwandan war and the role of the UN there since that is better known to me through the war crimes trials at the Rwanda War Crimes Tribunal. During those trials a lot of the evidence of the real role of the UN in Rwanda was revealed. The situation deserves remembering because the UN force sent to Rwanda in order, supposedly, to keep the peace between the invading Ugandans of the Rwanda Patriotic Front supported by the US, UK, Canada and Belgium, on one side, and and the government of Rwanda on the other, in reality acted as division of the invading forces.

The Canadian UN force commander, General Dallaire, and officers under him, actively helped the invading forces to violate weapons limit agreements, troop deployment agreements, helped them bring into the country arms and artillery for a final offensive, were complicit in the assassination of officials and politicians, were complicit in the murder of the President of Rwanda and President of Burundi, the murder of countless civilians, used their freedom of movement to gather and provide intelligence to the invading forces, and, in the fighting, along with American military forces, provided logistics and ammunition to the invaders, took part in attacks on government forces alongside the invading forces and, on the whole conspired to bring down the legitimate government and replace it with the present dictatorship of Paul Kagame.

In all this Dallaire was helped by senior members of the Department of Peace Keeping Operations, the DPKO, in New York, staffed by another Canadian general, Baril, and headed by Kofi Anan. The Rwandan UN peacekeeping mission, on which the hopes of millions rested for peace and democracy, was in fact a Trojan Horse wheeled in to spread death and destruction on a mass scale and it was a Horse controlled by Washington and London. For his loyal service to the United States in that war Anan was later made Secretary General of the UN.

This is the reality that Russia faces in proposing such a force for Ukraine. The US has already requested an amendment to the Russian proposal that requires the force to have a mandate right up to Russia’s borders. If this occurred then UN forces would be operating deep inside the Donbass Republics’ territories. It is a certainty that if NATO officers and troops control the force they will use it to their advantage against the Donbass Republics and Russia. It would be complete folly to permit it.

The only way that such a force could work if it is acceptable in the Donbass Republics. But the Donbass republics will want such forces to be composed of forces they can trust, which are at the least neutral and fair if not sympathetic, and unless Russian officers are part of the composition I cannot see how they could accept the idea with any rationality.

But the Kiev regime has already stated that it will not accept Russian or allied forces in any UN mission. In fact, the regime went so far as to state that UN mission is “irrelevant.” Poroshenko stated on September 7th that the “Russian proposal to deploy a UN mission specifically to protect the OSCE mission is strange to say the lease. However, Ukraine is ready to talk about it and we call for the deployment of a full-scale UN mission in the Donbass. Besides, the mission should meet UN principles, meaning that the aggressor state or the sides to the conflict will not take part in it.”
This slap at Russia as the “aggressor state” only backfired as it is clear that the aggressors in Ukraine are the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev and its NATO allies, the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Canada and others who have their forces there supporting the Kiev regime’s attack on the peoples of the Donbass. So, according to Poroshenko’s logic, no NATO soldiers could take part in such a mission.

So a stalemate has developed unless both sides are willing to accept neutral soldiers from neutral countries. But where are these countries to be found? They do not exist.

The fact remains that the Minsk agreements are a dead letter. The Kiev regime has never acted in accordance with them. Germany and the US and the rest put out propaganda that Russia and the Donbass are not in compliance while themselves arming the Kiev regime and supporting attacks on the Donbass peoples They have never ceased the attacks. The war simmers from month to month. The misery for the people drags on into another winter. People continue to die for no reason at all. NATO forces continue their build up and their military exercises. Russia responds with its own, along with Belarus. A political solution is needed but the goodwill and intentions necessary for one cannot be found for the NATO objective is not peace but conflict to create the circumstances the United States wants.

The regime in Kiev is now an adjunct of the NATO war alliance, a willing pawn in the bigger game. It has dragged its people into chaos and poverty and they have gained nothing except NATO chains. The United States and its allies want Russian subservience and will push until they get it or are they are stopped. In the meantime they too drag their peoples into chaos and poverty. Russia, with a deep experience, does not want another general war and so searches for light under any barrel. There is not much to find but at least Russia is making the attempt, searching for peace. Like John Lennon they just want to give peace a chance but the United States leadership doesn’t want any of it. They are only searching for domination or war and continue to deliver to Russia one insult after another even as Russia bends over backward to accommodate the US in Korea.

We have to salute President Putin for making the suggestion in an endeavour to advance towards the victory of peace in Ukraine. A political solution is necessary. But we have to caution him and the Russian leadership as they search for that victory. Beware the Trojan Horse.

Will the American Empire’s machinations to contain the rise of China lead to the Third World War? Or is the American/Chinese conflict another engineered conflict for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many? Russia Warns US it Will Strike Back if Militia Attacks in Syria Don’t End

Moscow has warned the US that if militias it supports in northeast Syria again attack positions of pro-government forces backed by Russia, the Russian military will use all its force to retaliate.

The troops of the Syrian Democratic Force (SDF), a predominantly Kurdish militia that receives support from the US military, have twice attacked positions of the Syrian Arab Army in the Deir ez-Zor governorate with mortar and rocket fire, according to the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

“Russia unequivocally told the commanders of US forces in Al Udeid Airbase (Qatar) that it will not tolerate any shelling from the areas where the SDF are stationed,” Konashenkov said, adding that the attacks put at risk Russian military advisers embedded with Syrian government troops.

“Fire from positions in regions [controlled by the SDF] will be suppressed by all means necessary,” he stressed.

Recently released court documents reveal what many people have long suspected: Monsanto had a hand in the retraction of a groundbreaking study that left little doubt about the dangers of glyphosate in a prominent food science journal.

Monsanto will do anything to protect the reputation of Roundup and its other herbicide products – which earned them $1.9 billion in gross profits in 2015 alone – and that includes silencing their detractors.

It has now emerged that the Editor in Chief of the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology who oversaw the famous study’s retraction was on Monsanto’s payroll. This is a conflict of interest at best, and possibly something far more underhanded, and they might have gotten away with it had their lawyers succeeded in preventing their internal documents from being released in a class action lawsuit filed against the firm by cancer patients.

The study, which was carried out by Gilles Seralini, found that Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide is toxic to rats in the long term, even in very small doses. In addition to severe damage to their livers and kidneys, he found a spike in tumor rates. Moreover, the rats in his study who ate corn sprayed with Roundup or drank water laced with various doses of glyphosate died earlier than control rats on a diet of regular corn and water.

When the study was subsequently retracted by the journal, it raised more than a few eyebrows. Many people who are familiar with the way Monsanto operates suspected they were involved in the retraction somehow, and now the connection has come to light.

Russia Beats US In The Middle East - Brother Nathanael

Is Identity Politics Brewing a Holocaust? - Paul Craig Roberts

Signs of American collapse are everywhere. Apparently no one notices. The world continues to vote with the US in the UN. When even Russia and China serve as handmaidens to US foreign policy by voting with Washington against North Korea, it appears that the image of America as the exceptional and indispensable country is a propaganda success even among Washington’s most threatened enemies. When Russia and China follow Washington’s lead, it shows the world that there is no alternative to Washington’s leadership.

A country with a $20 trillion public debt, an even larger private debt, a work force drowning in debt and employed in third world lowly paid domestic services, a stock market pumped up beyond all reason by Federal Reserve liquidity and companies using their profits to repurchase their own stock, a military that’s been tied down for 16 years by a few lightly armed Muslims, a propaganda ministry instead of a media with public ignorance the consequence, and with a total collapse of morality in public and private institutions along with the disappearance of courage, is nevertheless able to make the entire world dance to its tune. Washington is the Wizard of Oz.

Washington in the past 16 years has destroyed in whole or part seven countries, murdering, maiming, orphaning, widowing, and displacing millions of peoples. Yet Washington still presents itself as the great defender of human rights, democracy, and all that is good. The American people have voiced few words of protest against the massive crimes against humanity committed by “their” government.

The UN has not passed a resolution condemning the United States government for its endless aggressions, horrendous war crimes and illegal interventions against other countries.

Washington relies on threats and not diplomacy, and this is acceptable to the world. The UN sits as an American Approval Society because it is funded by American money.

Security agencies have become police state agencies, and they have transformed the obligation in the US military code to report war crimes into acts of treason that result in prison sentences. The US military code, just like the US Constitution and the laws that enforce it, is dead letter law, ignored and unenforced.

Consider the case of Bradley/Chelsea Manning. Bradley Manning released a film showing US troops murdering journalists, pedestrians, a good samaritan and his children as if it were a video game. These murders are war crimes. But it was Manning, who revealed them, not those who committed them, who was punished.

After release from prison Chelsea Manning was recently appointed by Harvard University’s Kennedy School as a visiting fellow. Most likely Harvard made the appointment to show support for the transgendered, not for truth-tellers wrongly convicted and turned into felons. The consequence was an uproar. I mean, really, how dare Harvard appoint a truth-teller. Manning might bring the entire Matrix crumbling down.

To prevent that Mike Morell, former deputy and acting director of the CIA, resigned his non-resident senior fellowship at Harvard, on the grounds that he “cannot be part of an organization that honors a convicted felon and leaker of classified information.” Morell is comfortable with his opposition to Manning as a truth-teller. Morell is concerned only that he might be perceived as biased against the transgendered. So Morell added to his resignation letter that “It is important to note that I fully support Ms. Manning’s rights as a transgender American, including the right to serve our country in the US military.”

Remember, Morell is the crazed immoralist who said on the Charlie Rose TV show that the US should start killing Russians to give them a message. It should scare Americans to death that such an insane person as Morell can reach the top ranks of the CIA.

Harvard, of course, collapsed under CIA pressure and cancelled Manning’s appointment.

Did anyone complain to Harvard about Morell’s appointment? Morell, unlike Manning, is a real felon, although a non-convicted one. As a CIA official, Morell is associated with the CIA torture program, a felony under both US and international law. Harvard and Morell are OK with torture, but telling the truth about it is a no-no. As Morell sees it, it is not damaging for America to commit war crimes as long as Manning doesn’t tell anyone about it.

The only reason for classifying information is to protect the government’s endless crimes from exposure. Yet the entirety of the US government, law schools, and the courts that are supposed to uphold the law, are silent about the policy that makes government crimes undiscoverable and that condemns whistleblowers who reveal the otherwise undiscoverable crimes.

So, what do we make of Harvard’s courage? Is F minus a low enough grade? In my day universities were not despicable cowards who serve as front men for government crimes.

As embarrassing as this story is to America, let’s get to what is the most interesting element. Morell is not embarrassed about suppressing a truth-teller who revealed US war crimes, but Morell is embarrassed to be at odds with Identity Politics. He is afraid of being seen as being in opposition to a transgendered person.

In other words, Identity Politics trumps truth, a point that cannot be emphasized too much. We see it everywhere, from statue removal to the Democratic Party turning on the working class, now defined by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee as racist, sexist, homophobic, white male gun nuts. Today both American political parties represent the armaments industries, the jobs offshoring corporations, and the big banks and Wall Street. No political party represents the American people.

Indeed, the people are chopped up into groups and turned against one another. That is the purpose of Identity Politics. Every group except white heterosexual males is a victim group, and women, blacks, hispanics, homosexuals, and transgendered are taught that it is not the armaments industries, the offshoring corporations, the financial sector, or Washington that is their enemy, but white heterosexual males, a group conflated by Identity Politics with the working class. Of course, women, blacks, hispanics, and homosexuals are also members of the working class, but they no longer see themselves that way. They see themselves as women, as black, as hispanic, as homosexual and as victims not of government and the powerful interest groups government serves but as victims of white males. And of “civil war” statues.

The controversy over the statue of Robert E. Lee in Richmond, Virginia, the capital of the Confederate States of America, is again in the news. Attacks on statues are one of the ways that the liberal/progressive/left teaches hate. First the hate seizes upon statues, inanimate objects. As we saw in the videos of the statue of the Confederate soldier that was pulled down, the desecrators of a public monument spit upon and kicked the statue as if it were a person.

To the ignorant rabble the inanimate object is a stand-in for a racist white southern male who the ignorant rabble think “fought for slavery.” And the hate doesn’t stop there. It extends back to the Founding Fathers who wrote the Constitution. The ignorant rabble, no doubt university students and bus-ins paid for by we don’t know who, regard the Constitution as a racist document written by racists, because it required the return of run-away property (slaves) to their owners. The rabble is incapable of comprehending that in the 18th century slavery was legal and a part of many societies. The ignorant rabble believe that slavery was a product not of an absence of a labor force but of white hate of darker-skinned people. The liberal/progressive/left teach that whites enslaved blacks because whites are racists.

As Roger D.McGrath makes clear in the June 2017 issue of Chronicles, and as innumerable historians such as the socialist Karl Polanyi have made clear, every race has been enslaved. In North America the Irish were bought and sold. But ideologues selling hate don’t care about facts. Spreading hate is their purpose, truth be damned. As the liberal/progressive/left is primarily white, the hate that they preach is going to come back and bite them. Hard.

When you consider that the white populations in the US, UK, Europe, and Canada are becoming minority groups due to heavy non-white immigration and the large differences in fertility rates, what is the consequence for whites in the future of being portrayed as hated oppressors? It is not possible to teach hate and not expect it to be expressed in political action. Will white people become in their own countries like Jews in Nazi Germany?

The French writer Jean Raspail explored this question in 1973 in The Camp of the Saints. Forty-four years ago the book was a best seller. My guess is that today reading it or even mentioning it is considered proof that you are a racist. There are so many limits on what can be discussed today that awareness of the present era is denied to those living in it.

On September 12 while I was beset by Hurricane Irma, which deposited a large red oak tree on my house and kept me locked in a mountain community with blocked roads for three days without telephone, Chris Roberts (no relation) writing in the online Unz Review reminded us of the prophetic story of the collapse of the French nation in the face of non-white immigration:

This is more or less what is happening today, not only to France but to the entire Western world. Perhaps the whites deserve it. Perhaps it will be an improvement. But the fact is that no one is permitted to say anything about it. Marine Le Pen says France is for the French, not for Africa and the Middle East, and she and her political party are said to be racists, fascists, nazis because she says France is for the French.

This is what Jean Raspail almost a half century ago said would happen. Whites would be psychologically unable to defend themselves even though they had overwhelming military and economic power.

Let us consider the massive non-white immigration into the West. The German businesses wanted the Turks as a work force. The American agribusiness, slaughter houses, and construction industry wanted Mexicans as a work force. Canada wanted population. The British and European colonial powers justified their colonialism by making citizenship status available to their colonies. In other words, empire led to reverse invasion. In the 21st century the West is experiencing massive immigration of peoples displaced by Washington’s endless wars and Western economic plundering. We are killing them over there so that they come over here.

Put together high non-white immigration with Identity Politics, which is a creation of Jewish cultural Marxists that has become the official ideology of the West’s liberal/progressive/left, and the result is a possible holocaust for white people. The Jews, who think of themselves as separate from the white goy, are seen by the rest of the world as white and the worst thereof. The originators of Identity Politics themselves will be victims of their own doctrine.

Indeed, Identity Politics prevents white people from recognizing and, if a few do, from protesting their destiny as potential victims of a political doctrine capable of brewing a holocaust.

The West is schizophrenic. On one hand Washington’s continuing slaughter, supported by Canada, Europe, Australia, and the UK, of dark-skinned peoples, serves as proof that the Western world is guilty of murder and plunder of non-white peoples. On the other hand Western governments welcome with open arms the refugees fleeing from the West’s wars and economic oppression. Identity Politics makes certain that Western populations will grovel in guilt even as the Western governments commit more crimes against non-whites, thus ensuring the growth of the immigrant population.

The non-whites will have their revenge. Who is to say the imbecilic whites didn’t bring it upon themselves?
