Why Comey Had to Be Fired, His History of Failure and the Mythology of the “Russian Investigation” - Lionel

Comey, Comey, Comey Chameleon. They come and go. They come and go.

#ComeyFiring is nowhere similar to the Saturday Night Massacre of 1973. Lionel knows the history in and out. In fact, Nixon has become the new Hitler in similar form to the Godwin principle. They're even referencing the "Mother's Day Massacre." You've got to be kidding. This is what happens when you have absolutely no idea or clue as to history. Webster and Ruckelshaus, Bork ain’t the same as this. Trust me.

•The media are foaming and frothing and are doing their best to use their overreaction as an attempt to spike their dwindling ratings. Look at Colbert and Rachel Maddow and how their numbers have spiked by doubling down on Trump. Jeffrey Toobin was almost in tears yesterday in a rare exhibition of emotion on CNN. But if you just look at what everyone’s sad about Comey, the left and right should be joined in unison.

•Comey (JC) was mouthing inappropriate comments as to Russia being evil. His geopolitical analyses went beyond the scope and pay grade of an FBI director. He sounded almost like Reagan. And not in a good way. This is dangerous and exceeds his jurisdiction, plain and simple.

•Why JC was a horrible FBI Director and should have been sacked long ago Lionel can review. Even the Dems agreed. Just look at his history. The question is, why was he there so long?

•The way that he was informed of his removal was tawdry and most unprofessional. All agree to this. The man deserves better.

•Contrary to what many people are suggesting, the FBI investigation into Russian collusion was going nowhere. It would've absolutely been better for Trump to have that run its course under Inspector Clousseau.

•When Trump meets with Lavrov today the timing of JC's removal will make more sense. It will impress upon citizens the necessity of cooperation with Russia versus this mindless and baseless vilification. Remind the world how we were allies in trouncing Hitler.
It is absolutely within the purview of jurisdiction of President Trump to fire his FBI director. He served at Trump's pleasure. Clinton bounced Sessions under his watch.

•Harry Reid even called for JC's removal in December 2016. Hillary Clinton and the Democrats were furious with JC as well. Now he's their hero. He handed Trump the election as per Hill.

Comey had to be let go because he was transparently incompetent/corrupt. He didn't prosecute Hillary for the mishandled emails. He was dragging his feet over the Weiner/Abedin emails too, that were part of this corruption. The lack of intent is not a defence: 18 U.S. Code § 793(f) - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information.

The following video, thanks to Trump is Right, indicates that Comey committed perjury:
