President Trump’s Korean War
Donald Trump's Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, announced the United States will take a more confrontational approach to Kim Jong-un and North Korea when he said all options are on the table in response to the Hermit Kingdom's missile and nuclear tests. On this edition of The Geopolitical Report, we put the escalation of tension between North Korea, the United States, and South Korea in a historical context usually ignored by establishment historians and the corporate media. We look at Syngman Rhee, the brutal dictator of South Korea installed by the United States after the Second World War, and the role played by the CIA in the first Korean conflict.
