Celebrate The Dictionary.com’s 2016 Word of the Year It Is Xenophobia

This is entertaining. The Doctor of Common Sense makes a number of good points.

The underlying issue is one of standing up for Western secular culture that respects people, men and women, and not bowing to various cultures that would undermine these freedoms. It's a simple argument.

His point about moving to another country, and taking up their culture, is entirely valid. You would not expect a prevailing (just) culture to bend to your wishes, especially if they were oppressive ones - regardless of any religious justification you might cite.

However, we should nevertheless not be disrespecting migrants, or aspects of their imported culture, just as they should not undermine our basic freedoms and laws.
