Japan's Island disputes



I like how he deals with the issue. He shows there should be a willingness to be reasonable or objective - to negotiate fair terms rather than warring. One can be inventive when negotiating.

And if Japan is serious about taking back more of those Islands lost to Russia during WW2 they must be willing to offer the citizens living there a fair deal - to have them stay or buy them out for a lot of money. However, if Japan, as country, can live without some of that territory then they should leave it be and get along and co-operate with the Russians. They may need their help in dealing with the contamination issues being caused by the Fukushima meltdowns.
