Michigan Mutations from Fukushima Fallout

If the fallout has spread so wide and at levels high enough to cause such mutations then the long term death toll from cancers and other radiation related sicknesses should be quite high.

This is not looking good.

I think a plant scientist would ask whether there was some other explanation for these differences from the normal.

Maybe there are always examples of these differences. And maybe its been naturally occurring for a long time.

There also is no evidence that even if these mutations are new that they are caused by fukushima particulates. Maybe there's some chemical out there doing this?

I really hope that there is some other explanation for what is recorded here, but since there are widespread reports of such deformities in the known fallout areas - where there is a difference in the types of chemicals used in argiculture etc - I tend to favour the hypothesis that this is due to radiation.

I hope this video is wrong, but I don't think it is. I used to spend a fair bit of time outside messing around with plants and such (although I am not a botanist!). I have never seen anything like the deformities on those dandilions, and there are heaps of them around here. I recently went out searching for such signs and saw none (I am in the Southern Hemisphere). I would have expected to see something like this once or twice if it was a reasonably common occurrance but I never have.

There is definitely something going on (whether chemical or radiological) since a lot of people are now posting videos on these things. I seriously doubt it's simply due to paranoia and a misassociation with Fukushima ie it actually is associated with the fallout.

I'd welcome more investigation into what is going on. It appears the creator of the video is doing just that. I just hope the Japanese are doing a better job of containing their burning nuclear fuel- that some of it is being water cooled or entombed.

However, I don't think things can be going that well if 3 of the reactor cores melted through their containment vessels ...
