When It Looks and Feels Like Totalitarianism ...

The Obama administration has spent the last three years building the infrastructure of a totalitarian police state, that "has surpassed the Bush administration’s attempts to expand executive power by crushing the civil liberties of US citizens." At the center of the repressive edifice is preventive detention without trial, buttressed by various measures that, effectively, criminalize dissent. Clearly, and methodically, "the US government is preparing for domestic insurrection."

"The NDAA’S dangerous detention provisions would authorize the president – and all future presidents – to order the military to pick up and indefinitely imprison people captured anywhere in the world, far from any battlefield."

Congress Approves CISPA

A controversial cyber security Act CISPA is now a step closer to becoming law, following US Congress approval. The process now heads to the Senate, although the White House had already threatened to veto the bill. Internet users slammed the proposal accusing it of breaching American's privacy. Critics point to the fact that the act could eclipse all existing laws protecting people's privacy.

Infant Monkeys Given Standard Doses of Vaccines Develop Autism Symptoms

Findings released today showed that infant monkeys given vaccines officially recommended by the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) exhibited autism-like symptoms. Lead investigator Laura Hewitson of the University of Pittsburgh and colleagues presented study results at the International Meeting for Autism Research (IMFAR) in London. Safety studies of medicines are typically conducted in monkeys prior to use in humans, yet such basic research on the current childhood vaccination regimen has never before been done.

The abstracts presented at IMFAR, the world’s top autism science conference, describe biological changes and altered behavior in vaccinated macaques that are similar to those observed in children with autism. Unvaccinated animals showed no such adverse outcomes. The vaccines given were those recommended for U.S. infants in the 1990s, including several with the mercury preservative thimerosal and the Measles-Mumps-Rubella vaccine. Rates of autism spectrum disorder among children born in the 1990s surged dramatically, from about 1 in 5,000 to 1 in 150 children.

“This research underscores the critical need for more investigation into immunizations, mercury, and the alterations seen in autistic children,” stated Lyn Redwood, director of SafeMinds. “SafeMinds calls for large scale, unbiased studies that look at autism medical conditions and the effects of vaccines given as a regimen.”

Radioactive Hell on Earth

[W]e are going to die whether we like it or not. It is our spiritual destiny to lose our bodies and let them go back to the dust from whence they came. The bad news is that it is going to happen a whole lot faster for the lot of us humans who will have to learn to survive on an increasingly contaminated planet. It wasn’t enough to cover the globe with lead, then mercury, plastic and a host of other chemicals.

We have now made it more difficult to live on earth and that situation is going to get much worse. There have been severe nuclear accidents before, several very bad ones in Russia and farmers are still feeling the effects of Chernobyl. Hundreds of British sheep farmers still have to obtain a license every time they want to move sheep. Before anything moves off the farm it has to be inspected and scanned with a Geiger counter. That contamination has not gone away; it is still burning people’s and animals’ bodies and will continue to do that for a long time.

Fukushima will start burning radioactive debris containing up to 100,000 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram.[1]

Radioactive hell gets hotter depending on who and where you are, with babies and fetuses suffering the most. As today’s essay develops, the story does get worse. No one talks about Fukushima much anymore, but it is one of the most dangerous and significant events in our history.
Nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen is saying that radioactive rain-outs will continue for a year—even in Western U.S. and Canada—because the Japanese are burning radioactive materials. Gundersen says that this radioactivity ends up not only in neighboring prefectures, but also in Hawaii, British Columbia, Oregon, Washington and California. Meteorologically, snow and rain will accelerate local fallout. Local rain showers that originate above radioactive clouds intensify radioactive contamination in certain areas. Contamination tends to be greater in drainage systems, on low ground, and in flat, poorly drained areas.[2]

Scientists with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute have confirmed that a wave of highly radioactive waste is headed directly for the U.S. west coast

The article here also mentions the danger posed by the impending collapse of Reactor 4's spent fuel rod pool. I tend to agree with one of the comments at the link, that the damage has already been done and worries about Reactor 4 are masking the disaster that has happened - primarily the destruction of Reactor number 3 (plus Reactors 1 and 2.)

Romney Nomination in Doubt – Brokered Convention Likely

April 24, 2012. Des Moines. Two networks yesterday, CNBC and MSNBC, broadcast a little known fact – Ron Paul appears to be winning the Republican nomination for President. When the popular Texas Congressman repeatedly assured supporters that the race was about delegates, not beauty contests, he apparently knew what he was talking about. Now, after three more states locked in delegates to the GOP nominating convention – CO, MN and IA – indicators point to a brokered convention with a possible, even probable, Ron Paul victory.

Mitt Romney in a panic

The only report announcing the news of another Paul victory yesterday was the Doug Wead Blog. That write-up, which included the headline, ‘Romney in a Panic’, was picked-up and reprinted by a number of independent news outlets like RT News and The Daily Paul. Wead’s conclusion is based on a number of factors. First and foremost, Ron Paul continues to win more delegates than Mitt Romney during each state’s respective slating processes. Additionally, the writer points to drastic, last-minute changes to GOP procedure showing an attempt to limit the Paul vote. Some measures include a new poll tax in Washington and robo-calls in New York telling Republican voters that only Mitt Romney remains in the race.

What has the GOP power-brokers and their candidate in such a panic? In three short words – Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa.

Keep in mind that every major US news outlet continues to show Texas Congressman Ron Paul in last place for the GOP nomination and with only 75 delegates. View Politico's delegate tracker as an example. They show Rep. Paul winning 3 delegates in Colorado, 17 in Minnesota and 1 in Iowa. Those networks however, have based their numbers on which candidate each state’s delegates are pledged or likely to vote for. The more important number is who they actually do vote for. And in that race, the only race that matters, Ron Paul is shocking the political world.

The bottom line unfortunately is that US household incomes have been strained for well over a decade. You can slice it up by nominal or inflation adjusted data but household incomes have been moving in a negative direction during the 00s and continuing into this decade. Keep in mind there is a massive pipeline of problems still in the housing market with over 5.5 million mortgage holders in some stage of foreclosure or simply not paying on their mortgage.

22 Red Flags That Indicate That Very Serious Doom Is Coming For Global Financial Markets

The greatest global debt bubble in human history is showing signs that it is getting ready to burst, and when that happens the consequences are going to be absolutely horrific.

Hopefully we still have at least a little bit more time before the global financial system implodes, but at this point it doesn’t look like anything is going to be able to stop the chaos that is on the horizon.

The following are 22 red flags that indicate that very serious doom is coming for global financial markets….

#1 According to CNN, the level of selling by insiders at corporations listed on the S&P 500 is the highest that it has been in almost a decade. Do those insiders know something that the rest of us do not?

#2 Home prices in the United States have fallen for six months in a row and are now down 35 percent from the peak of the housing market. The last time that home prices in the U.S. were this low was back in 2002.

#3 It is now being projected that the Greek economy will shrink by another 5 percent this year.

#4 Despite wave after wave of austerity measures, Greece is still going to have a budget deficit equivalent to about 7 percent of GDP in 2012

CIA Fundings and Manipulation of the US News Media

"The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media." -- William Colby, former CIA Director, quoted by Dave
Mcgowan, Derailing Democracy

"You could get a journalist cheaper than a good call girl, for a couple hundred dollars a month." -- CIA operative, discussing the availability and prices of journalists willing to peddle CIA propaganda and cover stories. Katherine the Great, by Deborah Davis

"There is quite an incredible spread of relationships. You don't need to manipulate Time magazine, for example, because there are [Central Intelligence] Agency people at the management level." -- William B. Bader, former CIA intelligence officer, briefing members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, The CIA and the Media, by Carl Bernstein

"The Agency's relationship with [The New York] Times was by far its most valuable among newspapers, according to CIA officials. [It was] general Times policy ... to provide assistance to the CIA whenever possible." -- The CIA and the Media, by Carl Bernstein

The history of the CIA shows that one of its roles was to control or manipulate the media. The idea that the CIA only deals with foreign intelligence is simply untrue.

Letter to The Australian ABC News: "Disgraceful and Misleading Coverage of US Election News"

Dear ABC News editors, reporters and general staff,

Your coverage of the Republican Presidential Race is a disgrace. Your reporter, Craig McMurtrie, wrongly stated that Mitt Romney was the only candidate left in the race after Newt Gingrich effectively pulled out. In fact two Republican candidates remain.

The other unnamed candidate is Congressman Ron Paul who is still in the running whether you or the corrupt US media believes so or not. And yes, the US corporate press has acted corruptly in their dishonest dealings with the public. This has been clearly demonstrated throughout the race where we have seen endless censorship and misrepresentation of the Ron Paul campaign.

Furthermore, we also know that the Republican party has been using all manner of dirty tricks to keep the tide of Ron Paul supporters at bay - and that the media has almost completely ignored it. We know there's been actual vote rigging, a rail-roading of establishment candidates, plus other acts constituting "undue process". This has all been documented on You Tube and other locations on the Internet. There is video footage (and analysis) of what has occurred and it's not hard to find!!

Compounding this media blackout against Congressman Paul, and the dirty tricks levelled against him, is the media blackout against any harsh criticism of Mitt Romney, especially from our Australian media, for his support of draconian Laws such as the National Defence Authorisation Act. This act actually allows the indefinite detention of suspects without trial. And what's even worse is our media also neglects to point out that it was President Barack Obama who signed this act into Law after first promising to veto it. Whose side is this guy on ?

You people at the ABC should stop patting yourselves on the back for pointing out the troubles facing third world countries and start to take a serious look at the plight of the US people. It seems you've ABANDONED them with your willingness to parrot US corporate media bias and propaganda.

The situation is like reporting on the superficial details of a train about to run off the tracks- covering things such as the cutlery, or the news releases from the train company- but are failing to heed clear warnings that the bridge is out and that the mafia are taking money on the side.

Let me be clear: your US Presidential Election coverage IS an absolute DISGRACE. You people have the resources to know better and you are uncritically following the US corporate propaganda. It looks like very few (or none?) of you people have independent enough minds to see what is going on here.

Indeed, because you people are not willing to point to the corruption, we will all be made to suffer when the consequences of your inactions come home to roost (like when we become involved in a War against Iran and/or Syria).

ps. You have also failed to alert the public to the dangers of the Fukushima disaster (among other things). - If we consider the deaths now attributed to the Chernobyl incident, shown to exceed 900,000 in number in recent studies, then we can be sure that many tens of millions of people (at least) are set to die because of this 21st century catastrophe. Where are your independent minds?

Obama has Prosecuted More Whistleblowers than All Other Presidents COMBINED. But Refuses to Go After White Collar Criminals

Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton each prosecuted financial crime more aggressively than Barack Obama.

But that doesn’t mean that Obama is failing to prosecute. He is just aiming at a different type of target.

"In President Obama’s 26 months in office, civilian and military prosecutors have charged five people in cases involving leaking information, more than all previous presidents combined."

As a journalist, Ellen's passion for research led her to ask a simple question about where our money and banking come from: Why do we repeat the cycle of privatizing bank profits in the good times, and publicly owning their losses in the bad times? Ellen's answer may surprise you: Throughout history, publicly-owned banks have coined money far cheaper than relying on governments to indebt themselves to private banks through a central bank like the Federal Reserve. Ellen challenges the inevitability and safety of a money system dominated solely by privately-owned banks.

Microbes in Gulf Attacking Things Other than Oil? Large Increase in Crab and Lobster with Appendages Falling Off - High Incidence of Eyeless Shrimp

Two years since the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history, we look at its impact on the Gulf of Mexico's residents and wildlife even as no BP officials have faced criminal prosecution for the disaster. Eleven workers died when the Deepwater Horizon well exploded and almost five million barrels of crude oil leaked into the ocean before the well was plugged after 51 days. BP maintains the Gulf is rapidly recovering thanks to the company's efforts, but Al Jazeera reporter Dahr Jamail describes how scientists say shrimp, fish and crabs in the Gulf of Mexico have been deformed by oil and chemicals released during the spill clean-up effort.

The Oil and Corexit dispersant is bad enough. I only hope that any oil eating bacteria that has been released is not eating everything in the Gulf. Hopefully we won't end up with a destroyed planet like in the movie The Road.

The problem with many really bad "black swan" type disasters is that most people can't imagine them happening. However, for those people in control, this sort of imagining is very necessary - in order to avert a catastrophe.

In regard to certain things, like genetically engineered organisms going out of control or the impacts of subtle environmental toxins (including radiological contamination), it is better to be cautious first, to prevent the chance of a disaster, than to deal with potential consequences later down the track.

Steve Keen Versus the Neoclassical Economic Model

There are two myths in banking: that bank debt can't be repaid, and that banks don't have any significant impact on macroeconomics. The former is held by many in the public, the latter is believed by the the dominant deluded school of economics, Neoclassicism--as Paul Krugman confirmed recently in his blog brawl with me. This presentation debunks both myths, using logic, dynamic modelling, and empirical data.

For some insights into this talk check out the comments at the above link (at Max Keiser). From what I can understand this seems to make sense. He claims that it is not the interest based banking system itself that is the problem but malinvestment including ponzi (unaffordable) asset price rises that first make things unaffordable leading to a crash that sinks an economy.

Perhaps watch this twice since Keen flys through the presentation. It's easier going the second time around.

FDA Targets Nanoparticles in Food, Appliances Over Health Risks

Although not known by many people, many companies and manufacturers are actually using tiny, engineered particles in consumer products, food, and even clothing. These particles are called nanoparticles, which can cross the blood-brain barrier and cause potential bodily harm. Due to the questionable safety of nanoparticles, regulators are proposing that any company or manufacturer that wants to use nanoparticles in packaging has to prove products are safe through additional testing.

According to the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies (PEN), over 1,300 manufacturer nanotechnology-enabled products are in the global commercial marketplace.

Nanoparticles can be found in car batteries, appliances, aluminum foil, non-stick cookware, and is especially present in health and fitness items. The Food and Drug Administration, though, has recently issued new trial guidelines for nanoparticle users

I'm shocked. The FDA actually appears to be doing its job.

Vermont Becomes First State to Call for Amendment that Would Remove Corporations From Constitution

With yesterday’s vote in the state house, Vermont is now the first state to call for an amendment to abolish the doctrine known as “Corporate Personhood” which gives corporations constitutional rights meant to protect people.

Hawaii and New Mexico have passed resolutions against the Citizens United v. FEC ruling by the Supreme Court, but the Vermont resolution goes beyond simply overturning that case and aims to remove corporations from the constitution altogether and make clear that money is not speech and that campaign spending and political contributions can be regulated by government.

Support for the resolution in the state legislature comes from a mandate set forth by Vermont’s citizens. Last month 65 town meetings passed similar resolutions, calling on the legislators in the state to stand up and urging Congress to send an amendment to the states for ratification

Recently the State of Virginia passed a Law to nullify sections of the Oppressive NDAA Law. People are not always fools when it comes to accepting oppressive measures:

.. the Virginia legislature overwhelmingly passed a law that forbids state agencies from cooperating with any federal attempt to exercise the indefinite detention without due process provisions written into sections 1021 and 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act.

Greg Miller of the Washington Post reports on the White House debate about CIA director David Petraeus’ request for a homicidal escalation of the CIA drone war in Yemen.

It seems Petraeus and his allies in the current inter-agency debate do not want to be constrained by a list. They calculate if the U.S. slaughters a particular crowd of people at an al-Qaida funeral, they are sure to kill men plotting to attack the United States. The logic, if not the morality, is persuasive: If you kill the certainly innocent, you will also get some of the presumably guilty.

This is also the logic of terrorism, which is one reason why the defenders of “signature strikes” prefer that their names not be published in the Washington Post

Göbekli Tepe: 12,000 Year Old Site in Turkey

Göbekli Tepe (Turkish for "Potbelly hill") is a hilltop sanctuary erected on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge some 15 km northeast of the town of Şanlıurfa (formerly Urfa / Edessa) in southeastern Turkey. Göbekli Tepe is the oldest human-made place of worship yet discovered. The site, currently undergoing excavation by German and Turkish archaeologists, was erected by hunter-gatherers in the 12th millennium BC (c. 11,500 years ago), before the advent of sedentism.

Although appearing in isolation today, any other semi-permanent constructions associated with Göbekli Tepe may have been in low lying areas at a time before the end of the last Ice Age and would have been lost when the sea levels rose. We must remember that we are only looking at fragmented material left behind from our ancient past.

Russia Stunned After Japanese Plan to Evacuate 40 Million Revealed

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Foreign Ministry on the planned re-opening of talks with Japan over the disputed Kuril Islands during the next fortnight states that Russian diplomats were “stunned” after being told by their Japanese counterparts that upwards of 40 million of their peoples were in “extreme danger” of life threatening radiation poisoning and could very well likely be faced with forced evacuations away from their countries eastern most located cities… including the world’s largest one, Tokyo.

The Kuril Islands are located in Russia's Sakhalin Oblast region and stretch approximately 1,300 km (810 miles) northeast from Hokkaido-, Japan, to Kamchatka, Russia, separating the Sea of Okhotsk from the North Pacific Ocean. There are 56 islands and many more minor rocks. It consists of Greater Kuril Ridge and Lesser Kuril Ridge, all of which were captured by Soviet Forces in the closing days of World War II from the Japanese.

The “extreme danger” facing tens of millions of the Japanese peoples is the result of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster that was a series of equipment failures, nuclear meltdowns, and releases of radioactive materials at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, following the To-hoku earthquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011.

According to this report, Japanese diplomats have signaled to their Russian counterparts that the returning of the Kuril Islands to Japan is “critical” as they have no other place to resettle so many people that would, in essence, become the largest migration of human beings since the 1930’s when Soviet leader Stalin forced tens of millions to resettle Russia’s far eastern regions.

Important to note, this report continues, are that Japanese diplomats told their Russian counterparts that they were, also, “seriously considering” an offer by China to relocate tens of millions of their citizens to the Chinese mainland to inhabit what are called the “ghost cities,” built for reasons still unknown and described, in part, by London’s Daily Mail News Service in their 18 December 2010 article titled: “The Ghost Towns Of China: Amazing Satellite Images Show Cities Meant To Be Home To Millions Lying Deserted”
Disturbingly, the desperate situation facing Japan is, also, facing the United States as Russian military observers overflying the US this week as part of the Open Skies Treaty are reporting “unprecedented” amounts of radiation in the Western regions of that country, a finding that was further confirmed by scientists with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute who have confirmed that a wave of highly radioactive waste is headed directly for the US west coast.

Important to note is that this new wave of Fukushima radiation headed towards the US is in addition to earlier radiation events that American scientists are now blaming for radioactive particles from Japan being detected in California kelp

Ron Paul Winning Delegates With Santorum Support Coalition

With the suspension of Rick Santorum’s presidential campaign, mainline Republicans immediately began reporting that the race was over, and that Mitt Romney was the GOP nominee for the presidency. But Romney supporters may have started celebrating prematurely. If recent events are any indication, Ron Paul is a dangerous competitor.

First, Rick Santorum’s supporters have begun uniting with Paulistas on an anti-Romney slate at state conventions. Bolstered by this arrangement, Ron Paul is gathering large numbers of delegates even in states where he performed poorly in the initial voting. In Colorado, a state where Paul came in last place, a Paul/Santorum “Conservative Unity Slate” has captured the plurality of delegates, with Ron Paul leading the coalition

A classified Pentagon study confirms that the Oklahoma bombing was caused by more than one bomb. The report, prepared by two independent Pentagon experts has concluded that the destruction of the federal building in Oklahoma City in April 1995 was caused by five separate bombs. The two experts reached the same conclusion for the same technical reasons. Sources close to the Pentagon study are reported to have said that Timothy McVeigh did play a role in the bombing but peripherally, as a "useful idiot."

10 Big Companies That Pay No Taxes (and Their Favorite Politicians)

Between 2008 and 2011, 26 major American corporations paid no net federal income taxes despite bringing in billions in profits, according to a new report (PDF) from the nonprofit research group Citizens for Tax Justice. CTJ calculates that if the companies had paid the full 35 percent corporate tax rate, they would have put more than $78 billion into government coffers.

Here's a look at the 10 most profitable tax evaders and the politicians their CEOs, employees, and PACs give the most money to.

Verizon Communications
Profits: $19.8 billion Effective tax rate: -3.8%
Top recipients, 2011-2012
President Barack Obama: $51,493
Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.): $24,450
Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.): $23,700
Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio): $22,500
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.): $15,000

General Electric
Profits: $19.6 billion Effective tax rate: -18.9%
Top recipients, 2011-2012
Mitt Romney: $53,750
President Barack Obama (D): $30,493
Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.): $23,900
Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.): $21,860
Rep. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.): $19,750

Profits: $14.8 billion Effective tax rate: -5.5%
Top recipients, 2011-2012
Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.): $31,750
Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.): $25,000
Former Sen. George Allen (R-Va.): $23,500
Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.): $23,125
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas): $20,986

Notice that the donations cover both sides of politics. It doesn't matter who gets into office since both parties are bought and paid for at the Washington level.

I noticed that Ron Paul has received money also. This is to be expected, but I do not think he would be beholden to these big donors if you consider his record. The big companies are dealing cash out to everyone.

Italy’s Gold Exports to Switzerland Soaring

Italy’s gold exports to Switzerland soared 35% year over year in February, after already increasing 65% in 2011 to 120 tonnes.

Somehow BBC attempts to spin this into positive news for Italy and a sign of recovery for the nation, claiming ‘Experts say improvements in the trade deficit could be a sign that Prime Minister Mario Monti’s economic reforms are starting to take effect.’

We take that back. An exponential pick up in Italy’s gold exports clearly is a sign that ex- Goldman Sachs Senior Adviser and leading Bilderberg Group member Mario Monti’s ‘economic reforms’ are starting to take effect.
And by effect, we mean the looting of the Italian people

Commentators like Max Keiser have observed that the debt crisis is designed to generate income for certain mega banks (or employees thereof) and to loot countries of real assets. This little story helps to illustrate what is going on.

New Studies: Fluoridation Fails to Reduce Cavities

New research shows that fluoride chemicals added to U.S. public water supplies are not reducing tooth decay as promoted and promised by government agencies, reports the New York State Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation, Inc. (NYSCOF).

sing federal statistics, the West Virginia University Rural Health Research Center reports that urban U.S. children, with more exposure to fluoridated water and dental care, have just as many cavities as less fluoridation-exposed rural children. (1)

The researchers write: "For children's dental health measures, it was found that fluoridation rates were not significantly related to the measures of either caries or overall condition of the teeth for urban or rural areas."

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says fluoridation reduces tooth decay. But, this study and others shows it hasn't. Tooth decay crises are occurring in all fluoridated cities, states and countries. And, the CDC reports the incidence and severity of children's primary tooth decay recently increased.

"Fortunes are wasted on fluoridation schemes that fail to prevent cavities while unnecessarily exposing children to fluoride's adverse drug effects," says attorney Paul Beeber, NYSCOF President

Fluoride is an industrial waste product and is a poison. Even in small amounts it is harmful to one's health:

US WMDs In Iraq: Those Laboratory Mice Were Children

At Fallujah hospital they cannot offer any statistics on children born with birth defects – there are just too many. Parents don’t want to talk. "Families bury their newborn babies after they die without telling anyone," says hospital spokesman Nadim al-Hadidi. "It’s all too shameful for them."

"We recorded 672 cases in January but we know there were many more," says Hadidi. He projects pictures on to a wall at his office: children born with no brain, no eyes, or with the intestines out of their body.

Facing a frozen image of a child born without limbs, Hadidi says parents’ feelings usually range between shame and guilt. "They think it’s their fault, that there’s something wrong with them. And it doesn’t help at all when some elder tells them it’s been 'god’s punishment’."

The pictures are difficult to look at. And, those responsible for all this have closed their eyes.

"In 2004 the Americans tested all kinds of chemicals and explosive devices on us: thermobaric weapons, white phosphorous, depleted uranium...we have all been laboratory mice for them," says Hadidi, turning off the projector

Colorado Further Evidence Ron Paul Will Challenge Romney in Tampa

This paints a much different picture of the real delegate count for Colorado. The final breakdown looks like this:

Romney – 13

Paul - 13

Santorum – 7

At large – 3 (count these for Romney if he is still the frontrunner in August)

Remember, this is a state where Santorum won with 40% of the caucus popular vote. Romney came in 2nd with 35% and Ron Paul finished last with 12%. Yet Paul is in a virtual tie for the lead in terms of the actual votes he will get on the first ballot at the RNC.

There were also 36 alternate delegates elected at Colorado’s convention. These delegates are seated in place of any delegates that cannot make it to the RNC or decide not to go. I spoke with two of them, Bobby Eskenberry and Lloyd Garcia, both from Congressional District 7. They are both pledged to Paul and hope to eventually be seated in Tampa.

Neither could provide hard numbers, but Garcia believes that almost all of the alternate delegates are Paul supporters. He also believes that if nothing changes regarding Santorum’s campaign, many of his delegates may forego the time and expense of attending the convention, leaving the door open for Paul to win the state when alternates pledged to Paul are seated.

How many more states are going to turn out like Colorado?

Santorum won the caucus vote in Missouri by a much wider margin with 55% of the vote. Romney finished second with 25% and Paul was a distant third with 12%. However, early indications are that Paul will win far more delegates at Missouri’s state convention June 1-2. According to Fox News, Missouri’s GOP leadership admits that Paul may get all of the delegates from Missouri.

The Iowa GOP leadership has previously acknowledged that Paul may win Iowa as well. Iowa holds its state convention on June 16.

These are all states where Ron Paul lost the popular vote by a wide margin. In states like Maine, Alaska, Minnesota and others, where Paul finished a close 2nd or at least did much better, he could win the final delegate counts by wide margins.

All of this is important information for voters in states that have not held their primaries or caucuses yet. Voters often make their decisions based at least in part upon their confidence in a candidate’s “electability.” They may choose not to vote for the candidate they like best if they think he can’t win.

I submit that a large portion of the difference in the officially counted popular vote, and the delegate counts can be put down to vote fraud. Go Ron Paul !

Please Donate to their Money Bomb. Every little bit counts. Even 20 bucks goes a long way if many people chip in. Remember, 100,000 people giving only 20 dollars each (the cost of a new release DVD) makes 2 million dollars ! Please help. Syria Terrorists Launch Rocket Attacks Following UN Cease Fire Deadline

The government of Syria struggles to continue to stick to their commitment to a UN peace plan and ceasefire as Syria rebels launch new rounds of terrorist attacks on civilians in Homs.

The government of Syria finds itself in the odd predicament of abiding by a one-side ceasefire in accordance with a UN and Arab backed peace plan.

On the other side of the equation are the Syria terrorists who refuse to abide by the UN plan which corporate news outlets such as CNN continue to refer to as "protestors" despite their continued attacks on civilians following the ceasefire deadline.

As part of the agreement, Syria has even agreed to allow UN Security Council monitors to enter the nation to monitor the violence

Afghan War Whistleblower Daniel Davis: ‘I Had To Speak Out – Lives Are At Stake’

Davis, 48, drew up two reports containing research and observations garnered from his last tour. He was not short of material. As part of his job he had criss-crossed the country, travelling 9,000 miles and talking to more than 250 people. He had built up a picture of a hopeless cause; a country where Afghan soldiers were incapable of holding on to American gains. US soldiers would fight and die for territory and then see Afghan troops let it fall to the Taliban. Often the Afghans actively worked with the Taliban or simply refused to fight. One Afghan police officer laughed in Davis’s face when asked if he ever tried to fight the enemy. “That would be dangerous!” the man said.

Yet at the same time Davis saw America’s military chiefs, such as General David Petraeus, constantly speak about America’s successes, especially when working with local troops. So Davis compiled two reports: one classified and one unclassified. He sent both to politicians in Washington and lobbied them on his concerns. Then in February he went public by giving an interview to the New York Times and writing a damning editorial in a military newspaper. Then – and only then – did he tell his own army bosses what he had done.
The document was also damning about the role of the US media in reporting the war. Ever since Vietnam, generals have slammed the press as a potential danger to military operations, but Davis’s report lambasted journalists for failing to question the official army line. He said the media were obsessed with getting “access” to military bases and generals and tempered reporting in order to maintain that situation. “Most of the media just takes the talking points and repeats them,” he said

This is why many of the blogs exist. Lives are at stake.

Fukushima: A Nuclear War without a War

The crisis in Japan has been described as "a nuclear war without a war". In the words of renowned novelist Haruki Murakami:

"This time no one dropped a bomb on us ... We set the stage, we committed the crime with our own hands, we are destroying our own lands, and we are destroying our own lives."

Nuclear radiation --which threatens life on planet earth-- is not front page news in comparison to the most insignificant issues of public concern, including the local level crime scene or the tabloid gossip reports on Hollywood celebrities.

While the long-term repercussions of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster are yet to be fully assessed, they are far more serious than those pertaining to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in the Ukraine, which resulted in almost one million deaths (New Book Concludes - Chernobyl death toll: 985,000, mostly from cancer Global Research, September 10, 2010, See also Matthew Penney and Mark Selden The Severity of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster: Comparing Chernobyl and Fukushima, Global Research, May 25, 2011)

A crisis far more serious than Chernobyl ...

A global effort should have been made to entomb the ruined reactors in the first days after the disaster. As I understand it the remains of the fuel rods are still fissioning, and releasing deadly radioactive material into the atmosphere.

US Army Is Stocking Up On A Ton Of Anti-Radiation Pills To Protect Troops

The U.S. has bought potassium iodide tablets in the past, and is now looking ahead to scenarios, possibly spurred by last year's Fukushima crisis.

As the federal solicitation is quick to point out, "The recent earthquake in Japan in March of 2011 and the resultant nuclear crisis has renewed interest in this item."

The pills are also used in case of terrorist-related release of radioactivity from nuclear weapons or dirty-bombs, says Anbex Inc., the only FDA-approved manufacturer of the pills.

Of course, potassium iodide would also come in handy if there were to be an airstrike against a target laden will nuclear material, say, like the sites in Iran. One of the big concerns surrounding the practical devastation of those nuclear facilities is the radiation it will unleash into the surroundings.

Destroying one of the most likely Iranian targets, the 1000-megawatt Bushehr nuclear plant, would create just such a concern

Explosive: Monsanto ‘Knowingly Poisoned Workers’ Causing Devastating Birth Defects

In a developing news piece just unleashed by a courthouse news wire, Monsanto is being brought to court by dozens of Argentinean tobacco farmers who say that the biotech giant knowingly poisoned them with herbicides and pesticides and subsequently caused ”devastating birth defects” in their children. The farmers are now suing not only Monsanto on behalf of their children, but many big tobacco giants as well. The birth defects that the farmers say occurred as a result are many, and include cerebral palsy, down syndrome, psychomotor retardation, missing fingers, and blindness.

The farmers come from small family-owned farms in Misiones Province and sell their tobacco to many United States distributors. The family farmers say that major tobacco companies like the Philip Morris company asked them to use Monsanto’s herbicides and pesticides, assuring them that the products were safe. Through asserting that the toxic chemicals were safe, the farmers state in their claim that the tobacco companies ”wrongfully caused the parental and infant plaintiffs to be exposed to those chemicals and substances which they both knew, or should have known, would cause the infant offspring of the parental plaintiffs to be born with devastating birth defects.”

New Poll Shows Ron Paul The Only One To Beat Barack Obama

In the latest National Poll, conducted by Rasmussen, which was released today, April 12, Ron Paul was the only Republican to defeat incumbent Barack Obama - something he has now done several times. Ron Paul defeated Barack Obama 44% to 43%. Mitt Romney (who the media has immaturely and irresponsibly named the “inevitable nominee”) tied Obama 45% to 45%.

As more people continue to drop out of the Republican Presidential Nomination Race (Former Senator Rick Santorum is the latest), it is clear that the only alternative to Mitt Romney is Ron Paul. And the only person who can beat Barack Obama is Ron Paul. So as the general election approaches, Republican voters have to ask themselves, what is their goal? If it is to win the election come November, then Republicans really need to start giving their vote to Ron Paul

Related Info:

Amazingly, despite the media blackout, Ron Paul STILL wins in the these sorts of polls. If there was more corporate media coverage Ron Paul's numbers would be a lot higher.

Please consider, with the election drawing nearer, that President Obama is a stooge of the establishment. Japan is Poisoning Other Countries By Burning Highly-Radioactive Debris

Japan is creating a disaster of a devastating proportions by choosing the economical method of disposing radioactive Fukushima debris by incinerating it.

Fukushima will start burning radioactive debris containing up to 100,000 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram.

How much radiation is that? It is a lot. Nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen has said that much lower levels of cesium – 5,000-8,000 bq/kg (20 times lower than what will be allowed to be burned at Fukushima) – would be sent to a special facility in the United States and buried underground for thousands of year. See this and this. It is comparable to the levels of radioactivity found within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. See this and this.
In addition, some allege that debris surpassing 100,000 bq/kg of cesium will be burned, after being mixed with less-radioactive materials. And many of the incinerators are located smack dab in the middle of crowded cities, and are not equipped to contain radiation.

Other Parts of Japan Are Also Burning Radioactive Debris
And it’s not just Fukushima. Tokyo and many other areas in Japan are burning radioactive debris as well. And see this.

Burning to Continue for for Years
Mainichi reports that the radioactive debris will be burned for years … through at least March 2014.

Poisoning Other Countries

Burning radioactive debris does not destroy the radioactivity. It merely spreads it. Gundersen says that radioactivity from the burnt debris will end up not only in neighboring prefectures, but in Hawaii, British Columbia, Oregon, Washington and California. Gundersen said that burning radioactive debris is basically re-creating the Fukushima disaster all over again, as it is releasing a huge amount of radioactivity which had settled on the ground back into the air

Did a whole heap of death cultists just take over the running of Japan?

Sadly, I think few people will pay attention to this situation until millions of people become sick and die of the Fukushima contamination. Without the burning of this debris we should still expect to see causalities in the millions. The problem we have is that it takes time for these sicknesses to occur.

I'm thinking about adding a new tag label for this story entitled "Utter Madness".

Syrian Rebels ‘Using Turkish Refugee Camps as Base’

The Syrian army’s pursuit of rebels across the Turkish border has shed light on claims of rebel groups using refugee camps as safe havens. Reports suggest the Free Syrian Army could be treating them as springboards to launch incursions into Syria.

RT correspondent Sara Firth interviewed an anonymous source on the Syrian-Turkish border following the incident, who said that members of the Free Syrian Army were operating in the border region.

“They [Syrian rebels] cross the border, then they walk back again. Maybe the Turkish army finds some and takes them back to the camp, others just come by themselves. A lot of these people work with the Free Syrian Army,” he said.

He added that the Turkish government turns a blind eye to their movements and “lets them go back to fight.”

RT also spoke to a member of the Free Syrian Army operating in the area, who told her the opposition wanted to pressure the Turkish government into providing “arms and equipment from NATO.”

According to media reports, Syrian regime troops who were pursuing insurgents after they attacked a military checkpoint opened fire across the border, killing one and injuring several people.

Turkey has been highly critical of the Assad regime, and has previously been accused of harboring and training Syrian rebels in the south of the country close to the border region.

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds wrote in December that US and NATO troops had been training insurgents in Hakkari, southern Turkey

The world is NOT a simple place. Life is pretty straightforward, but when it comes to geopolitics we find hidden hands pushing various agendas in many situations.

Our problem, as observers, is that the western mainstream media does not like to point out these complexities since it implicates their own governments in schemes that lead to war and unnecessary suffering. They did a shameful job in their support of the Iraq WMD lies, and we are again seeing more of the same (in terms of biased, or uncritical, reporting).

As has been commonly the case, the paid TV presenters, the mainstream press writers and their corporate bosses don't want to rock the military-industrial boat that feeds them. Many are probably ignorant of what is happening, while others who are more critical get told to shut up or are fired - like what happened to mainstram TV host Phil Donahue before the 2003 Iraq War.

Iran Claims Arrests of Israeli Backed 'Terrorists'

The Iranian government claimed Tuesday that it had arrested members of an Israeli-backed "terror" network plotting assassinations and sabotage inside the country.

Iran's intelligence ministry announced via state-run media that it had disbanded a "large and sophisticated Israeli terror and sabotage network after months of operations" just as the network was planning fresh attacks.

The statement also said that the government's apprehension of the "devils led to the discovery of of the Zionists' regional command center" in a third country.

Iran has blamed Israel, the U.K. and the U.S. for a series of assassinations of nuclear scientists and explosions and disruptions at missile sites that began in 2007.

Iran has also accused neighboring Azerbaijan of sheltering spies who are planning attacks inside Iran. Iranian state media quoted an unidentified government official saying that "heavy bombs, machine guns, hand guns" and telecommunication equipment were recovered during the arrests, and that some arrests involved firefights.

Two assailants on a motorcycle attached magnetic bombs to a car of an Iranian university professor working at a nuclear facility, killing him and wounding two others.

Iranian accounts also cited past arrests of alleged "CIA and Israeli spies," saying that Iranian intelligence had disrupted an "espionage network" with a dozen members in Iran and Lebanon with the help of Hezbollah in 2011. U.S. officials confirmed to ABC News in November 2011 that Iran and Hezbollah had "rolled up" two distinct CIA espionage networks.

Time magazine reported in March that Israel was scaling back covert operations inside Iran, including assassinations, sabotage and spy recruitment, because of concerns that its networks had been compromised. According to Time, security officials said the confession by Majid Jamali Fashi that he had assassinated nuclear scientist Massoud Ali Mohammad by motorcycle bomb in January 2010, was legitimate. Fashi, who has been sentenced to death, claimed that he was paid $120,000 by Mossad to carry out the hit

Keiser Report (E273): Return of the Silver Liberation Army

In this episode, Max Keiser and co-host, Stacy Herbert, discuss the return of the Silver Liberation Army as JP Morgan's Blythe Masters claims the bank does not manipulate silver prices. They also discuss JP Morgan's 'London whale' breaking the credit default swap (CDS) index market with massive prop position. In the second half of the show Max talks to author, Pierre Jovanovic, about Blythe Masters role at JP Morgan and the similarities between the world today and France of the 18th century on the eve of revolution.

The second half of the show is very interesting where they discuss how JP Morgan is buying commodities, like food and energy, which has jacked up the prices of everything. The speculators are making big bucks and are also working to keep the price of gold and silver low.

Russia Is Massing Troops On Iran's Northern Border And Waiting For A Western Attack

The Russian military anticipates that an attack will occur on Iran by the summer and has developed an action plan to move Russian troops through neighboring Georgia to stage in Armenia, which borders on the Islamic republic, according to informed Russian sources.

Russian Security Council head Viktor Ozerov said that Russian General Military Headquarters has prepared an action plan in the event of an attack on Iran.

Dmitry Rogozin, who recently was the Russian ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO, warned against an attack on Iran.

"Iran is our neighbor," Rogozin said. "If Iran is involved in any military action, it's a direct threat to our security."

Iran does not have nuclear weapons and is not developing them - according to the CIA. Iran is only a "threat" as a regional economic power to Western and Israeli interests. The war drums beating against Iran are the same ones (WMDs) we heard for Iraq.

Swine Flu Vaccines Cause 17-Fold Increase in Narcolepsy, Scientists Discover

The long-term health damage caused by the great H1N1 swine flu scam "pandemic" of 2009 -- and particularly the mass vaccination campaign that accompanied it -- is already becoming apparent in the form of an autoimmune disorder. A new review published in the journal Public Library of Science ONE confirms that Pandemrix, a swine flu vaccine produced by drug giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), is responsible for causing an up to 1700 percent increase in narcolepsy among children and teenagers under 17 years of age.

Based on their findings, a cohort of scientists has determined that narcolepsy rates increased significantly following mass vaccination campaigns with Pandemrix. Compiled data has revealed that between 2002 and 2009, the narcolepsy rate among children under age 17 was 0.31 per 100,000. But in 2010, that number jumped to 5.3 per 100,000, which represents a 17-fold increase.

Similarly, research compiled by Markku Partinen of the Helsinki Sleep Clinic and Hanna Nohynek of the National Institute for Health and Welfare in Finland, both of which were also involved in the new research, has determined a link between Pandemrix and narcolepsy

Were these swine flu vaccines, or some element contained within them, given to certain people in Africa who are now suffering from an epidemic of narcolepsy?

Sy Hersh: U.S. Funded and Trained (on U.S. soil) Iranian Group on State Dept. Terror List

Seymour Hersh, the venerable investigative journalist, dropped another bombshell this morning in the New Yorker : the US military trained members of an Iranian terrorist group in Nevada in 2005.

What’s more, American intelligence continues to be transferred to the Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK) for use in operations that include the assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists.

Hersh reports that during the Bush administration, the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), an elite Special Operations force, transferred funds, arms and intelligence to the MEK.

While this type of covert activity is standard practice for the US–see Iran-Contra–what makes this revelation shocking is that the MEK is still on the US terrorist list. Because of that fact, the training had to be conducted in secret, away from the eyes of the State Department, at the Department of Energy’s Nevada National Security Site.

American Nazis? Killing millions, Police state powers...

All hail corporate greed we can murder millions, torture, and steal and legalize it all. It's a dictatorship or more accurately a plutocracy. The US has killed millions and tortured people and has a police state just as Nazi Germany did.

Reactor 2 'Beyond Human Capability' And Worsening - Reactor Ruins NOT in Safe Shutdown

The Maddow Show is actually on the money here. The crisis in Fukushima was NEVER resolved. If the radiation levels are so high then you can bet there are still hot particles entering the atmosphere and falling out over the Pacific Ocean, the West Coast of the USA, and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere. You can bet this has been occurring almost continually since 11/3/11 (the day of the catastrophe).

The last 4 minutes of this clip discusses a nuclear waste dump being built over a huge water aquifer in the US.
