at about 15 or 16 minutes, Kunstler tries to explain why Americans are so accepting of the ass fucking their getting by their own government and corporate America. He says we're distracted by having to work hard to survive, and by technological gadgets, and stuff.

I think this is wrong. Keiser is talking about how the government, in particular, the regulatory agencies and the courts, have been taken over by the Banks and other crooks. This claim offers its own explanation in that the people in government who have been placed there to favor corporations are not at the same time going to give a fair hearing to the American people who are being screwed.

It doesn't take any account of how the people might be responsible for their own ass fucking by being distracted or too tired to care.

The problem here is that there's too much concern about making government itself the problem, or the people being chumps the problem when what they are saying is that rich people with power have corrupted government and have used government and their power over the media to dupe the people.

I think this is why Paul came out against Social Security, according to Roberts, ...because as a government program it can't be good.
