Economist Dean Baker on the Bailout Panic (Sept 2008)

Economist Dean Baker shares his thoughts on the looming economic crisis. Dr. Baker is the co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, DC, and a columnist for The Washington Post and Atlantic Monthly.



The same situation still exists today with the 600 billion dollar QE2 bailout. The destructive Wall Street banks, the ones that "threaten" cataclysmic bankruptcy, should be wound down and the executives investigated for committing acts of financial terrorism.
