It was interesting to me what he said about Norway and Britain. Norway, according to Kaizer, sucked all the oil out of their part of the north sea and with that money bought U.S. Treasuries. Apparently, this was a better option than what Britain did. At least Norway has risky treasury bills where Britain has almost nothing to show for it.

I don't know about Norway much, or about how much they made on their oil resources.

But, it does seem that it would have been better for them to have slowed down the production so that their resource would have lasted longer.

Now, it seems they should be more like China and use those treasuries while they are still worth something to buy up resources where they can get them.

yes Steve, I agree, those Treasury bills don't look very good at all ... !!
