Swine Flu is a Man Made Virus

The question is: where did the virus originate ? The outbreak in Mexico comes from an area where there are no pigs suffering from pig influenza and where there have been no cases of bird flu. The question to be asked is how did a virus suddenly appear that contains these strains of influenza ?

Any reasonable person would have to suspect that there may be foul play involved here. Certainly we know from the Anthrax attacks that people working within the military industrial complex of the USA are capable of releasing bio-weapons into the population. The only question then is motive. Could it be as a distraction over the torture headlines, the economic crisis, the problems with border security and drugs coming across from Mexico ?

Also, although this swine flu is dangerous, CNN reports that more than 1000 people have died of normal influenza already this year. Furthermore, more than 600 people on average have been dying of Tuberculosis in the USA for the past decade. So far the lethality of the swine flu, and the danger it represents has been blown out of proportion. People have died in Mexico, but the deaths there have been relatively limited.

Truth Commission to Proceed Despite Obama’s Wishes

Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) plans to proceed with a special commission to investigate alleged Bush administration abuses of power, despite lacking President Barack Obama’s support, according to a report Tuesday.

Sen. Leahy called for a “Truth Commission” in February to probe Bush administration policies on torture, interrogation and surveillance and to — as he puts it — “get to the bottom of what went wrong.” Such an idea would be modeled around truth commissions established in South Africa and Chile, which offered immunity to officials who committed abuses in exchange for the truth.

This is inexcusable. There is evidence aplenty to convict Bush Administration officials of high crimes. There is no need to offer immunity in exchange for the truth. This is a whitewash attempt and any real truth outed by this commission will be downplayed.

Newly Released Memo: Government ‘Minders’ at 9/11 Commission Interviews ‘Intimidated’ Witnesses

The three staffers argued minders should not answer questions for witnesses because they needed to understand not how the intelligence community was supposed to function, but “how the Intelligence Community functions in actuality.” However: “When we have asked witnesses about certain roles and responsibilities within the Intelligence Community, minders have preempted witnesses’ responses by referencing formal polices and procedures. As a result, witnesses have not responded to our questions and have deprived us from understanding the Intelligence Community’s actual functioning and witnesses’ view of their roles and responsibilities.”

The memo also describes the minders’ conduct in detail: “… [M]inders have positioned themselves physically and have conducted themselves in a manner that we believe intimidates witnesses from giving full and candid responses to our questions. Minders generally have sat next to witnesses at the table and across from Commission staff, conveying to witnesses that minders are participants in interviews and are of equal status to witnesses.”

The staffers also worried about minders taking “verbatim notes of witnesses’ statements,” as they thought this “conveys to witnesses that their superiors will review their statements and may engage in retribution.” They believed that “the net effect of minders’ conduct, whether intentionally or not, is to intimidate witnesses and to interfere with witnesses providing full and candid responses.”

Another problem with the verbatim notetaking was that it “facilitates agencies in alerting future witnesses to the Commission’s lines of inquiry and permits agencies to prepare future witnesses either explicitly or implicitly.”

Bin Laden Could Be Dead, Whereabouts Unknown: Zardari

Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari said on Monday that the whereabouts of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden remained a mystery and there was a suspicion that he could be dead.

Speaking to international media, Zardari said U.S. officials had told him that they had no trace of the al Qaeda chief, although they habitually say he is most likely in Pakistan.

Pakistan's own intelligence agencies were no wiser, either, Zardari said.

Reagan's DOJ Prosecuted Texas Sheriff for Waterboarding Prisoners

Federal prosecutors secured a 10-year sentence against the sheriff and four years in prison for the deputies. But that 1983 case - which would seem to be directly on point for a legal analysis on waterboarding two decades later - was never mentioned in the four Bush administration opinions released last week.

The failure to cite the earlier waterboarding case and a half-dozen other precedents that dealt with torture is reportedly one of the critical findings of a Justice Department watchdog report that legal sources say faults former Bush administration lawyers - Jay Bybee, John Yoo and Steven Bradbury - for violating "professional standards."

Bybee, Yoo and Bradbury also shocked many who have read their memos in the last week by their use of clinical and legalistic jargon that sometimes took on an otherworldly or Orwellian quality. Bybee's August 1, 2002, legal memo - drafted by Yoo - argued that waterboarding could not be torture because it does not "inflict physical pain."

Medical Director: Swine Flu Was “Cultured In A Laboratory”

“This strain of swine influenza that’s been cultured in a laboratoryis something that’s not been seen anywhere actually in the United States and the world, so this is actually a new strain of influenza that’s been identified,” said Dr. John Carlo, Dallas Co. Medical Director (video clip here).

Was this a slip-up or an admission that this new super-strain of swine influenza was deliberately cultured in a laboratory and released?

The WHO insists that the outbreak has “pandemic potential” and has been stockpiling supplies of Tamiflu, known generically as oseltamivir, a pill that can both treat flu and prevent infection, according to officials.

As we previously highlighted, those that have a stake in the Tamiflu vaccine include top globalists and BIlderberg members like George Shultz, Lodewijk J.R. de Vink and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Indeed, Rumsfeld himself played a key role in hyping an outbreak of swine flu back in the 1976 when he urged the entire country to get vaccinated. Many batches of the vaccine were contaminated, resulting in hundreds of sick people and 52 fatalities.

The fact that the properties of the strain are completely new, that the virus is spreading from people to people, and that the young and healthy are being hit worst, has disturbing parallels to the deadly 1918 pandemic that killed millions.

It is unclear as to why, if the virus is a brand new strain, that public health officials are so confident programs of mass vaccination, which are already being prepared, would necessarily be effective.

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that deadly flu viruses have been concocted in labs and then dispatched with the intention of creating a pandemic.

When the story first broke last month, Czech newspapers questioned if the shocking discovery of vaccines contaminated with the deadly avian flu virus which were distributed to 18 countries by the American company Baxter were part of a conspiracy to provoke a pandemic.

Since the probability of mixing a live virus biological weapon with vaccine material by accident is virtually impossible, this leaves no other explanation than that the contamination was a deliberate attempt to weaponize the H5N1 virus to its most potent extreme and distribute it via conventional flu vaccines to the population who would then infect others to a devastating degree as the disease went airborne.

However, this is not the first time that vaccine companies have been caught distributing vaccines contaminated with deadly viruses.

In 2006 it was revealed that Bayer Corporation had discovered that their injection drug, which was used by hemophiliacs, was contaminated with the HIV virus. Internal documents prove that after they positively knew that the drug was contaminated, they took it off the U.S. market only to dump it on the European, Asian and Latin American markets, knowingly exposing thousands, most of them children, to the live HIV virus. Government officials in France went to prison for allowing the drug to be distributed. The documents show that the FDA colluded with Bayer to cover-up the scandal and allowed the deadly drug to be distributed globally. No Bayer executives ever faced arrest or prosecution in the United States.

In the UK, a 2007 outbreak of foot and mouth disease that put Britain on high alert has been originated from a government laboratory which is shared with an American pharmaceutical company, mirroring the deadly outbreak of 2001, which was also deliberately released.

As we reported yesterday, last time there was a significant outbreak of a new form of swine flu in the U.S. it originated at the army base at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

New Flu Has Spread Widely, Cannot Be Contained - CDC

An unusual new flu virus has spread widely and cannot be contained, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed on Saturday.

"It is clear that this is widespread. And that is why we have let you know that we cannot contain the spread of this virus," the CDC's Dr. Anne Schuchat told reporters on a conference call.

Top Democrats Complicit In Torture Cover-Up

We now know why top Democrats are protecting Bush administration officials from facing an inquiry into the illegal torture program - because several of them were actually complicit in giving their approval for such methods to be used.

The White House stressed again yesterday that it would not be pursuing an investigation of key Bush administration officials, despite the manifestly provable fact that the order to torture came from the very top, which was re-affirmed with the recent release of the Senate Armed Services Committee report.

Why are top Democrats so vehemently opposed to an independent inquiry into the blatantly illegal Bush torture program? This goes further than the crony self-interests of the two party monopoly - it turns out that top Democrats had foreknowledge of the torture and actually provided their unmitigated approval for the methods when presented with them by the CIA.

Despite Nancy Pelosi’s denial that Congress was informed that the CIA was illegally waterboarding detainees, the Senate committee report discovered that in 2002 Pelosi and three other members of Congress (one other Democrat and two Republicans) were given a virtual tour by the CIA of overseas detention sites and the torture tactics employed to try and make detainees talk. This was reported by the Washington Post in December 2007.

Democrats Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Sens. Bob Graham (D-Fla.) and John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), all held oversight roles during this period. The Post reports that the lawmakers raised “no objections” to the interrogation methods demonstrated by the CIA and that in fact, “at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder.”

[Bio-Weapons?]: Mexico Flu Deaths Raise Worries of Global Epidemic

A unique strain of swine flu is the suspected killer of dozens of people in Mexico, where authorities closed schools, museums, libraries and theaters in the capital on Friday to try to contain an outbreak that has spurred concerns of a global flu epidemic.

The worrisome new virus — which combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way researchers have not seen before — also sickened at least eight people in Texas and California, though there have been no deaths in the U.S.

"We are very, very concerned," World Health Organization spokesman Thomas Abraham said. "We have what appears to be a novel virus and it has spread from human to human ... It's all hands on deck at the moment."

This is a very scary story. In recent years many top microbiologists have been killed in accidents, suicides or murders leading many to suspect a deliberate "culling" campaign.

We are Avoiding Physics of WTC

Recently, explosive scientific evidence proving that high-tech nano-thermitic material was present in the World Trade Center dust was reported in a scientific journal titled, "Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe."

Authored by an international team of physicists and chemists, the article in the Open Chemical Physics Journal 2009, Vol. 2, said, "We conclude that the red layer of the red/gray chips we have discovered in the WTC dust is active, unreacted thermitic material, incorporating nanotechnology, and is a highly energetic pyrotechnic or explosive material."

In short, the paper destroys the official story that "no evidence" exists for explosive or pyrotechnic materials in the WTC towers, and is devastating to the mainstream "explanation" that three WTC buildings were somehow demolished by the two hijacked airplanes. Further, it reinforces the position of over 600 registered architects and engineers who have shown the impossibilities of a gravity-driven "collapse" as put fourth with the "official" version.

Because of the difficulty in refuting the solid evidence of explosives inside those three towers, defenders of the "official story" have resorted to ridicule the character of the article's publisher, and those engineers that trust physics over politics.

Why hasn't this been reported in the mainstream media? Perhaps because most are afraid to really look into the physics of 9/11, since fear of the known is sometimes worse then fear of the unknown.

Barack Obama: Bush Officials Could be Prosecuted over 'Torture' Documents

In a dramatic shift by a White House that on Monday had brushed aside questions about the issue by insisting the American president was "focused on looking forward", Mr Obama indicated that officials could be called to account for the US losing its "moral bearings".

There is no "could" about this. The President is obligated to defend the Laws and Constitution of the United States. He MUST launch a criminal investigation into these torture allegations.

Port Authority of NY/NJ: Records For Reported WTC Renovation Work Destroyed On 9/11

Turner Construction, who supervised the 2000 demolition of the Seattle Kingdome, participated in the post-9/11 Ground Zero clean-up and performed extensive renovations within the World Trade Center towers just prior to 9/11, was in fact performing unspecified renovation work throughout the WTC complex until the very morning of September 11, 2001. The Port Authority of NY/NJ now claims that records describing such work or other projects were destroyed on September 11, 2001. A December 2000 WTC property assessment described required renovation work to be completed within one year, upon steel columns within elevator shafts of both WTC towers that was immediately pending or already underway.

In 1997 Turner Construction also constructed the new headquarters for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center, a laboratory managed by NAVSEA was described during the 1990s as the "National Center for Energetics", the "Pentagon's jargon to broadly describe explosive materials, propellants and pyrotechnics" and as the "only reliable source of aluminum nanopowders in the United States".

Housing Bubble Smackdown: Bigger Crash Ahead

Due to the lifting of the foreclosure moratorium at the end of March, the downward slide in housing is gaining speed. The moratorium was initiated in January to give Obama's anti-foreclosure program---which is a combination of mortgage modifications and refinancing---a chance to succeed. The goal of the plan was to keep up to 9 million struggling homeowners in their homes, but it's clear now that the program will fall well-short of its objective.

In March, housing prices accelerated on the downside indicating bigger adjustments dead-ahead. Trend-lines are steeper now than ever before--nearly perpendicular. Housing prices are not falling, they're crashing and crashing hard. Now that the foreclosure moratorium has ended, Notices of Default (NOD) have spiked to an all-time high. These Notices will turn into foreclosures in 4 to 5 months time creating another cascade of foreclosures. Market analysts predict there will be 5 MILLION MORE FORECLOSURES BETWEEN NOW AND 2011. It's a disaster bigger than Katrina. Soaring unemployment and rising foreclosures ensure that hundreds of banks and financial institutions will be forced into bankruptcy. 40 percent of delinquent homeowners have already vacated their homes. There's nothing Obama can do to make them stay. Worse still, only 30 percent of foreclosures have been relisted for sale suggesting more hanky-panky at the banks. Where have the houses gone? Have they simply vanished?

US Threatens to Invade Eritrea

The United States has reportedly threatened to invade Eritrea and subject it to “the same fate as Taliban-controlled Afghanistan in the wake of the September 11 attacks” for providing support to the al-Shabaab resistance movement in Somalia, which the US has since attempted to link with al-Qaeda. NASA Spacecraft Detects Buried Glaciers on Mars

NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has revealed vast Martian glaciers of water ice under protective blankets of rocky debris at much lower latitudes than any ice previously identified on the Red Planet.

Scientists analyzed data from the spacecraft's ground-penetrating radar and report in the Nov. 21 issue of the journal Science that buried glaciers extend for dozens of miles from edges of mountains or cliffs. A layer of rocky debris blanketing the ice may have preserved the underground glaciers as remnants from an ice sheet that covered middle latitudes during a past ice age. This discovery is similar to massive ice glaciers that have been detected under rocky coverings in Antarctica.

"Altogether, these glaciers almost certainly represent the largest reservoir of water ice on Mars that is not in the polar caps," said John W. Holt of the University of Texas at Austin, who is lead author of the report. "Just one of the features we examined is three times larger than the city of Los Angeles and up to one-half-mile thick. Large sections of the Martian landscape appear to be the work of liquid water rather than sand. Close up features on the surface, as shown in pictures sent by the rovers, appear to be damp rather than dusty. In many cases the track marks are consistent with this hypothesis rather than the electrostatic sand explanation offered by NASA.

Mars is a lot more wet today than has been indicated in official statements. It's likely that there are underground lakes and river systems below the ground that sometimes spew water to the surface. Certainly if there are buried glaciers, there may well be channels that run beneath them as we see on Earth.

David Ray Griffin Tour - Boston and London Reports

Quoting Upton Sinclair, professor David Ray Griffin addressed an attentive audience at the City University of London last Tuesday for almost three hours in the first of the ten appointments of his European tour entitled "9/11: Time for a Second Look," a second and deeper look at the events that eight years ago cost almost 3,000 american citizens their lives, and that were used as the root cause to wage war to Afghanistan first and among the excuses for the invasion of Iraq.

Since 2003, hundreds between scholars, engineers, architects, political and religious leaders, lawyers, medical professionals, pilots, senior military and intelligence officers, firefighters, artists and media professionals from all over the world have joined him in his call for an unflinching investigation over the 9/11 attacks since, he maintains, the explanations provided by the Bush/Cheney administration are inconsistent and false.

Griffin pointed out that since 2001 the only investigations were carried out by agencies aligned with and employed by the Bush/Cheney administration, such as the NIST, and that their findings are in striking contrast with the results of independent researchers and experts, making an independent investigation essential to establish what really happened and who is behind 9/11 attacks.

Recently, independent researchers have brought to light the presence of active thermitic material, a powerful explosive, in samples of the dust from the World Trade Center. This, according to Griffin, will further support the theory stressing that the collapse of the Twin Towers was due to a pre-planned demolition.

This breakthrough in the research on 9/11 comes from the collaboration of physicist Steven Jones, chemist Kevin Ryan, Niels Harrit, chemistry professor at the University of Copenhagen and scientist Jeffrey Farrer, Director of the Transmition Electron Microscopy at Brigham Young University, where Jones was also a professor of Physics.

UN Torture Investigator: Obama has broken International Law

President Barack Obama’s release on Thursday of four Bush administration memos sanctioning torture has been widely praised. However, word that government will go so far as to offer a fully-paid legal defense for agents who applied torture techniques to terror war prisoners has triggered loud criticism.

“Like all other contracting states to the UN convention against torture, the US has committed to conduct criminal investigations of torture and to bring all persons to court against whom there is sound evidence,” Manfred Nowak, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on torture, told Austrian weekly paper Der Standard.

“They are party to the convention and the convention is very, very clear,” Nowak told the paper. “The fact that you carried out an order doesn’t relieve you of your responsibility.”

A Taste of AFRICOM: Somalia did find Peace and Tried to stop Piracy until the US Bombed the S*** out of it in 2006

In 2006 "the CIA propagated that Al-Qaeda had made its base in Somalia where three senior leaders were residing.

CIA then encouraged Ethiopia to invade Somalia in support of weak TFG forces (Transitional Federal Government) against UIC fighters (Union of Islamic Courts) and promised to provide intelligence and air cover.

Ethiopian troops backed by USA invaded Somalia on 28 December 2006. The UIC was quickly defeated in a sweeping offensive and the six-month peace period was shattered.

It was believed that the UIC leadership fled into Kenya or to Yemen and the hard-line fighters cached their arms and melded back into their clans leaving the mostly untrained, new recruits to face the Ethiopian troops.

Soon after the UIC rout, two US air strikes targeted alleged Al-Qaeda bases in southern Somalia on 13 January 2007 but only innocent civilians got killed."

Just as the US has positioned itself in the Middle East, they are also seeking to establish operations in Africa. In this case the Al Qaeda card was used in order to instigate an action here.

The rally in the stock market will not fix the banking system, slow the crash in housing, patch-together tattered household balance sheets, repair failing industries or reverse the precipitous decline in consumer confidence. The rising stock market merely indicates that speculators are back in business taking advantage of the Fed’s lavish capital injections which are propelling equities into the stratosphere.

Meanwhile, the unemployment lines continue to swell, the food banks to run dry and the homeless shelters to burst at the seams. So far, $12 trillion has been pumped into the financial system while less than $450 billion fiscal stimulus has gone to the “real” economy where workers are struggling just to keep food on the table.

The Fed’s priorities are directed at the investor class not the average working Joe. Bernanke is trying to keep Wall Street happy by goosing asset values with cheap capital, but the increases to the money supply are putting more downward pressure on the dollar. The Fed chief has also begun purchasing US Treasuries, which is the equivalent of writing a check to oneself to cover an overdraft in one’s own account. This is the kind of gibberish that passes as sound economic policy. The Fed is incapable if fixing the problem because the Fed is the problem.

The evidence consisted of the FBI's own records and I handed this story, a story about a possible murder committed inside the White House itself, free of charge to NBC's Los Angeles News department, and was told (off the record) that anyone touching that story would be fired.

That was the reason I started my political web page which eventually became WRH, and frankly, it has been a huge cost and a pain in the ass most of the last 16 years.

But now time has caught up with the corporate media. As the general public comes to understand the extent of the US Government lies and the degree to which the corporate media aided and abetted those lies, people are turning to the blogs to get that which they cannot find at ABCNNBBCBS; the TRUTH!

So the liars are finally getting fired, and who will really mourn their fall?

Obama Attacked from All Sides Over CIA Memos

The White House was engulfed by a maelstrom of anger yesterday after its decision to release memos from the Bush era providing legal cover for "enhanced" interrogation techniques in secret CIA prisons. At the same time, it made promises to protect those who implemented them from prosecution.

The act of releasing the memos with almost no blacking out of sensitive sections was attacked by two senior former Bush aides. Michael Hayden and Michael Mukasey, who served respectively as CIA director and US attorney general, said their publication "was unnecessary as a legal matter, and is unsound as a matter of policy".

Perhaps more controversial was the decision to couple their publication with assurances from Barack Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, that no one who carried out interrogations using the now disavowed techniques, including forcing detainees to stand naked for hours and slamming them against walls, would face prosecution.

The swings in the value of stocks look a bit suspect to me. One day the miners are up by a lot, the next day it's the financials, whilst the former plummets.

It looks like there is a lot money being moved in and out of stock rapidly in order to make a quick buck. This happens under more prosperous conditions, but here we can see it is more pronounced as the big longer term investers are not buying and holding as much as before.

The fundamentals are still in the tip. Invest carefully and be prepared for the worst ie. manage your risk !

Obama DOJ Ignoring Evidence of Thermite from WTC

Nano-thermite could not be accidentally present in dust samples collected at four different sites, nor could it be the result of clean-up operations at ground zero, as one of the samples was retrieved a mere ten minutes or so after the collapse of the second tower. All samples show the same consistency.

It means that there is proof (which so far no one has attempted to refute) that the WTC buildings (and more than three thousand lives, counting the ongoing deaths of first responders and ordinary NYC citizens caused by the dust) were brought down by controlled demolition in a planned and purposeful manner by elements of the Bush Administration, most likely as a ‘catalyzing event’ , the new Pearl Harbor’ fondly mentioned by neo-con PNAC (Plan for the New American Century) and designed to galvanize American citizens in support of attacking other nations and restricting human rights at home. ‘Full Specter Domination’.

This was the excuse or invading Afghanistan and Iraq (there were plans for Syria and Iran as well, and perhaps others), for justifying domestic spying, disappearances, torture, and murder. Murder based on lies and deception, and the killing of American citizens.

9/11 Commission Counsel: Government Agreed to Lie About 9/11

The senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission - John Farmer - says that the government agreed not to tell the truth about 9/11, echoing the assertions of fellow 9/11 Commission members who concluded that the Pentagon were engaged in deliberate deception about their response to the attack.

Farmer served as Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission (officially known as the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States), and is also a former New Jersey Attorney General.

Farmer’s book about his experiences working for the Commission is entitled The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11, and is set to be released in September.

The book unveils how “the public had been seriously misled about what occurred during the morning of the attacks,” and Farmer himself states that “at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened.”

Michael Hess, WTC7 Explosion Witness

Hess was in WTC7 with Barry Jennings. Both men reported a huge explosion in the lower level of that building BEFORE any of the Towers came down. Buildings do not simply explode for no reason. Stop Spending Our Future - The Crisis [MUST SEE VIDEO]

The way to wipe out debt repayments is bankruptcy. Rather than trying to cover the massively inflated bad loans in property, and the huge trillion dollar losses in exotic derivatives, a better plan would be to void the derivatives debt and support the homeowners as much as possible while letting insolvent banks fail. Those banks that are still operative can take over the home loans at a reduced level, with the loans adjusted to the current market price.

Throwing money in to prop up prices and cover exotic funny money derivatives debt is useless. It prolongs the disaster and places a huge burden on the taxpayer.

Whilst stopping the "bleeding" is important here wealth needs to be generated. Action needs to be taken so that more jobs are created for US citizens. The doors need to closed on immigration and incentives for business and industry developments inside US borders need to be established.

The forensic evidence to which he refers further proves that explosives were used to bring down all three skyscrapers on 911. This paper adds to the physical evidence we already have of the superheated steel, the heat corroded condition of various steel beams, the physical characteristics of the collapses themselves and the iron-rich thermite byproducts that have been identified so far.

In response to a question raised in the clip as to how 10-100 tons of explosive could have been moved into the building:

1. We know the building security had been compromised using a company associated with the Bush family.

Protesters Storm Stage and Interrupt Larry Summers for Conflict of Interest Payments

Larry Summers’ address before the Economic Club in Washington D.C. on Thursday was interrupted for several minutes as a group of protesters jumped on the stage and held up a large sign behind Summers’ head that said, “We Want Our $$$ Back!”

The protest came as Summers was addressing a question on whether a second stimulus would be needed, and it stopped the conversation in its tracks.

“Larry Summers is part of the problem,” screamed one of the activists. “He is a toxic mess.” They continued to heckle him for his conflict of intrests in making money from industry groups and/or business favored by bailouts.

The bailouts are designed to protect the Wall Street players who created the crisis. The bankers face no accountability for their actions while taxpayer money (debt) is used to keep these fat cats in business for "the greater good." As far as we can determine, the Ice Ages came about due to changes in the Sun's temperature. It's perfectly reasonable to assume that we may be facing a climate change right now brought about by diminished Solar activity. We will find out soon enough.

The Open Chemical Physics Journal: Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe

Abstract:

We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

Dutch TV Show Exonerates Osama Bin Laden of the 911 Crime

A Dutch TV jury has found Osama bin Laden not guilty of the Sept. 11 attacks.

In the conclusion Wednesday night to the show "Devil's Advocate" on Dutch public broadcaster Nederland 2, the jury of two men and three women, along with the studio audience, ruled there was no proof bin Laden was the mastermind behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001.

Furthermore, the American FBI does not want Bin Laden for the attacks of September 11, he is wanted for the bombings of the two US embassies in Africa. The reason for this "omission" according to the FBI: there is no evidence linking him to the crime.

America’s 20% Unemployment Rate

Measuring unemployment is an art that can result in widely varied rates. Not surprisingly, the U.S. Government uses a method that excludes millions of Americans seeking employment. This lower rate is used to prove that America’s economic system is superior to those in Europe. Their higher unemployment rates are blamed on unions and socialism, which guarantee workers health care and paid vacations. The implication is that while many American workers lack such benefits, at least they have jobs. This argument is faulty since unemployment is measured differently.

Countdown - Obama Administration Acting as an Accessory to War Crimes and Illegal Surveillance

In Warrantless Wiretapping Case, Obama DOJ's New Arguments Are Worse Than Bush's

Sad as that is, it's the Department Of Justice's second argument that is the most pernicious. The DOJ claims that the U.S. Government is completely immune from litigation for illegal spying — that the Government can never be sued for surveillance that violates federal privacy statutes.

This is a radical assertion that is utterly unprecedented. No one — not the White House, not the Justice Department, not any member of Congress, and not the Bush Administration — has ever interpreted the law this way.

Previously, the Bush Administration has argued that the U.S. possesses "sovereign immunity" from suit for conducting electronic surveillance that violates the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). However, FISA is only one of several laws that restrict the government's ability to wiretap. The Obama Administration goes two steps further than Bush did, and claims that the US PATRIOT Act also renders the U.S. immune from suit under the two remaining key federal surveillance laws: the Wiretap Act and the Stored Communications Act. Essentially, the Obama Adminstration has claimed that the government cannot be held accountable for illegal surveillance under any federal statutes.

Again, the gulf between Candidate Obama and President Obama is striking. As a candidate, Obama ran promising a new era of government transparency and accountability, an end to the Bush DOJ's radical theories of executive power, and reform of the PATRIOT Act. But, this week, Obama's own Department Of Justice has argued that, under the PATRIOT Act, the government shall be entirely unaccountable for surveilling Americans in violation of its own laws.

Traces of Explosives in 9/11 Dust, Scientists Say

Tiny red and gray chips found in the dust from the collapse of the World Trade Center contain highly explosive materials — proof, according to a former BYU professor, that 9/11 is still a sinister mystery.

Physicist Steven E. Jones, who retired from Brigham Young University in 2006 after the school recoiled from the controversy surrounding his 9/11 theories, is one of nine authors on a paper published last week in the online, peer-reviewed Open Chemical Physics Journal. Also listed as authors are BYU physics professor Jeffrey Farrer and a professor of nanochemistry at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

For several years, Jones has theorized that pre-positioned explosives, not fires from jet fuel, caused the rapid, symmetrical collapse of the two World Trade Center buildings, plus the collapse of a third building, WTC-7.

The newest research, according to the journal authors, shows that dust from the collapsing towers contained a "nano-thermite" material that is highly explosive. Conyers calls for Special Prosecutor for Bush Crimes

On Thursday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers quietly released the final draft of an extensive report he first unveiled in January documenting the Bush administration’s "unreviewable war powers" and the possible crimes committed in implementing those policies.

In order to determine whether Bush officials broke laws, Conyers has recommended that Attorney General Eric Holder appoint a special prosecutor to launch a criminal inquiry to investigate, among other things, whether "enhanced interrogation techniques" used against alleged terrorist detainees violated international and federal laws against torture.

We'll see what happens. Conyers had the opportunity to launch impeachment hearings against the former Administration yet sat on the evidence. Regardless of the politics here, he was acting to suppress investigations into the crimes of the Bush Administration and has therefore compromised himself.

Even if we do get a prosecutor there might be an effort to limit the investigations. Patrick Fitzgerald's Plamegate jury was fully authorised to look into any connected examples of corruption in the Bush administration yet the opportunity was not taken even though the evidence was all about.

Remember, it's not a two party system we see in the US but a charade run by the establishment wherein punishment for those in high office that break the Law is very limited. The tentacles of this corruption run deep.

This is the problem at the heart of US foreign policy (and also in relation to corporate affairs and many other matters), behind closed doors the arm twisting of various lobby groups is immense. If the process here was utterly transparent, that all meetings had to be video taped by Law and made available to the public, then an open discussion could be had and nefarious attempts to influence US Congressional Representative could be curtailed.

A team of scientists claim to have unearthed startling data from dust and debris gathered in the days and weeks after the World Trade Center towers collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.

In a study published by the Open Chemical Physics Journal -- a peer-reviewed, scientific publication -- Steven E. Jones and Niels Harrit level a stark allegation: that within the dust and rubble of the World Trade Center towers lays evidence of "a highly engineered explosive," contrary to all federal studies of the collapses.

They claim their analysis has uncovered "active thermitic material": a combination of elemental aluminum and iron oxide in a form of thermite known as "nanostructured super-thermite."

Thermite, used in steel welding, fireworks shows, hand grenades and demolition, can produce a chemical reaction known for extremely high temperatures focused in a very small area for a short period of time.

According to the Navy's Small Business Innovation Research, super-thermite "is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), which controls the export and import of defense-related material and services."

"This finding really goes beyond anything that has previously been shown," said Jones in a media advisory. "We had to use sophisticated tools to analyze the dust because this isn't just a typical explosive, RDX or CD4 or something -- this is a highly engineered material not readily available to just anyone."

"The cost and production rate of super-thermite composites has limited the use of these materials in DoD applications," claims the Navy's SBIR.

We know this superthermite material is high tech and extremely hard to make which makes the list of suspects very narrow. Someone had access to this technology and it was not Osama Bin Laden. Time for an open criminal investigation.

Keynes: Economic Fascist & a Warning About Hyper-Inflation

Whether or not you accept there is a degree of deliberate manipulation that has led to the financial crisis the warning at [3:47] about hyperinflation should be taken seriously.

Various commentators have pointed out that the present "solutions" to the economic crisis of bailing out the banks while shifting the debt to the taxpayer, will only make matters worse for all.

There is simply too much bank debt for the taxpayers to handle. It is better to let the banks fail and wipe out their obligations. We will end up with short term, large scale unemployment but this is better than letting these vampires suck the life out of the government and people for decades to come with the high likelihood of a collapse anyway.

Once the insolvent banks are gone new banks without massive derivatives debt can take over. The economy will stagnate as many unemployed find that the job market has contracted and those with work will cut back on spending and save. Things will go slowly for quite a while.

However, at present we seem to be set on a course leading to massive public indebtedness and hyperinflation. Buy assets now while things are "cheap". Minimise debt. Consider back up plans if out of work/lower income.

Also, those that help each other will survive better than those going alone. We all need to look out for one another. Do what you can !

Summers Received Hundreds Of Thousands In Speaking Fees From TARP Recipients

Barack Obama's chief economic adviser, Larry Summers, received hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees last year from firms that have direct financial interests before the government or are intimately involved in the White House's bank relief programs.

The White House released late Friday the personal financial disclosure forms of many high-ranking administration officials. The document provided for Summers, who serves as one of the president's closest confidants, underscores just how close some of these officials are to the industry over which they now have oversight.

Hersh: Cheney ‘Left A Stay Behind’ In Obama’s Government, Can ‘Still Control Policy Up To A Point’

In an interview on NPR's Fresh Air yesterday, host Terry Gross asked investigative journalist Seymour Hersh if, as he continues to investigate the Bush administration, "more people" were "coming forward" to talk to him now that "the president and vice president are no longer in power." Hersh replied that though "a lot of people that had told me in the last year of Bush, 'call me next, next February,' not many people had talked to him. He implied that they were still scared of Cheney.

"Are you saying that you think Vice President Cheney is still having a chilling effect on people who might otherwise be coming forward," asked Gross. "I'll make it worse," answered Hersh, adding that he believes Cheney "put people back" in government to "stay behind" in order to "tell him what's going on" and perhaps even "do sabotage":

HERSH: I'll make it worse. I think he's put people left. He's put people back. They call it a stay behind. It's sort of an intelligence term of art. When you leave a country and, you know, you've driven out the, you know, you've lost the war. You leave people behind. It's a stay behind that you can continue to contacts with, to do sabotage, whatever you want to do. Cheney's left a stay behind. He's got people in a lot of agencies that still tell him what's going on. Particularly in defense, obviously. Also in the NSA, there's still people that talk to him. He still knows what's going on. Can he still control policy up to a point? Probably up to a point, a minor point. But he's still there. He's still a presence.

It's not just Cheney. Obama's team, and high levels of the bureaucracy, are not exactly filled with trustworthy defenders of the Constitution who would see justice done even though "the heavens may fall".

Cases in point: The evidence to convict Cheney and Bush for War crimes is obvious, yet President Obama and Attorney General Holder have done nothing. The economic advisers appointed by Obama include the guys that helped to deregulate the banking industry. consequently, anyone willing to offer independent (ie "controversial") testimony going against the established status quo are not going to get much support.

The government is stacked with pro-elite types who will do little to rock the boat by allowing any sort of real investigation to occur. Hersh is right that Cheney's guys are still lurking but there is more to the overall situation than that.

Police Ordered to Release 7/7 Footage

Police have been ordered to release footage of the July 7 bombers after a three-year freedom of information battle.

The video shows the terrorists chatting, putting on rucksacks and buying snacks on their way to carry out suicide bombings that killed 52 innocent people in London.

In chilling scenes, Hasib Hussain is also seen shopping for a battery and stopping at McDonald's as he struggles to make his device work after the other bombs have been detonated.

Whether one likes it or not there are huge problems with the police account of the 7/7 bombings. The biggest discrepancy is the fact that the train that the bombers NEEDED to catch from Lutton Station was cancelled- according to official London transport records and from witnesses who normally caught the train. This meant that the alleged bombers could not have made the connections required to bomb all the later trains. A video still shot reveals them arriving too late to catch an earlier train.

Also, the very fact that the bombers on a suicide mission stopped to go shopping(!) raises serious questions.

More than likely these people were designated patsies who may have been partaking in a mock exercise with mock bombs -hence the casual attitudes and the later backpack "struggles" which perhaps represented legitimate confusion as to the contents of the pack.

The same problems arise with the hijacker actions before 911- they were simply not credible.

Furthermore, in relation to the September 11 false flag, the videos of the Pentagon crash, the FAA audio tapes, CIA confession evidence and the scientific modelling data done by the official investigations have similarly been made unavailable.

If all these events were real acts of terror then this level of secrecy would be unwarranted and the police and government would be readily releasing more film and data highlighting the facts of these attacks. The likely reason for these sorts of cover ups is because the facts do not support the official version.

Something is Rotten at PBS

Last year, former Washington Post reporter T.R. Reid made a great documentary for the PBS show Frontline titled Sick Around the World.

Reid traveled to five countries that deliver health care for all – UK, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan – to learn about how they do it.

Reid found that the one thing these five countries had in common – none allowed for-profit health insurance companies to sell basic medical coverage.

So, Reid traveled around America, interviewing patients, doctors, and health insurance executives.

The documentary that resulted – Sick Around America – aired Monday night on PBS.

But even though Reid did the reporting for the film, he was cut out of the film when it aired this week.

And the film didn't present Reid's bottom line for health care reform – don't let health insurance companies profit from selling basic health insurance.

Instead, the film that aired Monday pushed the view that Americans be required to purchase health insurance from for-profit companies.

Peer Reviewed Proof 911 was an Inside Job: Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe

Formally published in a peer-reviewed Chemical Physics journal, today:

“Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe” by Niels H. Harrit, Jeffrey Farrer, Steven E. Jones, Kevin R. Ryan, Frank M. Legge, Daniel Farnsworth, Gregg Roberts, James R. Gourley and Bradley R. Larsen

The paper ends with this sentence: “Based on these observations, we conclude that the red layer of the red/gray chips we have discovered in the WTC dust is active, unreacted thermitic material, incorporating nanotechnology, and is a highly energetic pyrotechnic or explosive material.”

In short, the paper explodes the official story that “no evidence” exists for explosive/pyrotechnic materials in the WTC buildings.

What is high-tech explosive/pyrotechnic material in large quantities doing in the WTC dust? Who made tons of this stuff and why? Why have government investigators refused to look for explosive residues in the WTC aftermath?

These are central questions raised by this scientific study.

The peer-review on this paper was grueling, with pages of comments by referees. The tough questions the reviewers raised led to months of further experiments. These studies added much to the paper, including observation and photographs of iron-aluminum rich spheres produced as the material is ignited in a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (see Figures 20, 25 and 26).

It appears this paper was thoroughly researched and that there is more material set to be revealed by other independent researchers who also had access to samples of the dust (this is mentioned later in the article).

These red chips are NOT primer paint as claimed by some Debunkers.

And regardless of any paint chip charge, the evidence of the iron rich spheres themselves clearly revealed they were products of a thermite reaction- indicating foul play. So although there was already damning evidence of thermite we now have this analysis that has made the case even stronger.

Taken with reports of explosions and the Molten Steel photographed in the rubble pile we can be sure that the collapses of the Three World Trade Centre buildings on 911 were not the result of aircraft and conventional fire effects.

It's time to haul in some suspects for detention and questioning.
